| My favourite is probably the twins, Liza & Tate, I think. My least favourite is that silly cowboy from Gen 5. In addition to having a personality I rather didn't like, he also proved to be no challenge to me at all :/ |

| Gardenia was a nightmare in Platinum since I picked Piplup and hadn't really leveled anything else, until I trained a Noctowl. Which is strange since I don't think I had nearly as much trouble in Diamond. |

| I used to hate Brock in the game when I was a kid (I think I was 8 at the time) mostly cause I loved Charmander and all the pokemon were either normal or bug up to his gym so he proved to be quite a challenge it took me forever to beat him. xD I haven't played Pokemon in years since the last GBA game which I think was Emerald and I don't really remember the rest of the gym leaders well past gen I. My favs were Giovanni, Sabrina, and Erika. |

| Worst? All of the ones from Kalos, they suck Some peeps found Liz and Tate difficult. Just wiped them out with a single Surf. Easiest Gym Leaders I've faced ever The one that gave me the hardest time was Misty since that Starmie was fast as fuck and hit like a truck and had recover, and could absorb hits. Fuck that thing. Whitney was pretty difficult too, but that has a lot to do with how Johto's mon selection is absolute shit. Doesn't help that my bro Cyndaquil couldn't do a damn thing against that blobby cow and got stomp and rolled into oblivion. Didn't know about the tradeable Machop in Goldenrod's dept store till after I was through with the ordeal. Also Clair was pretty damn hard. More then a little uncreative though, with the three Dragonairs and all Norman wasn't too tough. Thankfully Marshtomp learns protect via level up |

| Man I miss the old gen gym leaders. I could understand why you guys hated the twins and whitney for being hard, but I miss the challenge now. I miss being a kid ignorant of ivs and natures and had fun playing the game. Now the game is so ridiculously easy, I make my pokemon lower level than everyone else. |

| I like all the hot chicks. Blaine was also pretty cool, gramps had style. Drayden is kind of cool too I guess, but I can never wrap my head around whatever he has covering his mouth. Is it a extremely strange beard? Some kind of white coloured iron gob? Surgically remodelled jaw? I don't even. Beside that, I don't really care about them. |
| I can really only remember the original game's leaders, though I've played a fair amount of the others. Least: Sabrina. Just because it was really freaking annoying to find her. Favorite: Misty. Just because that level 21 Starmie was a good challenge at that point in the game due to its level and the fact that Starmie is an end game viable pokemon from that generation. |

| Brock is an asshole to charmander lovers and anyone unfortunate enough to have bought Yellow. Bertha from the E4 in platinum had a whole bunch of ground/x types, including a ground/flying and several ground/waters. Immune to electricity, which is also one of the only things it's weak to. Fortunately I love ice pokemon so I had ways around that, but she's still a bitch of a gym leader to fight if you don't happen to have some ice attacks ready to go. From the same game, Cynthia is a badass and it's great to not be up against your rival after beating the E4 for once. |

| Flannery is best gym leader. Her fiery hot attitude and body plus her top tier taste in Pokemon types makes her the best. Can't think of any I hate though. |
| Always loved Brock in Pokemon Yellow because of how challenging he is if you're a kid and all you know how to do is Pikachu. I battled him like 50 times using my pikachu until i finally got lucky and quick attack'd his onix to death. Giovanni is awesome for dat lawful evil never really appreciated misty, erika or blaine because they're too easy to curb stomp. |

Weird, my Pikachu always had Slam by the time I reached Brock, so I never had problems with him as a kid. The only childhood nightmares were two gym leaders: Whitney and Miltank, and Liza and Tate. Both are easy now, but they sure where challenging back when I was young. Favorite gym leader? Roxie! And Arti for TV show bias (sorry he's voiced by Toru Furuya, can't help it). |

You can catch mankey just outside Viridian City, makes Brock a complete pushover. And Charmander learns Iron Tail fairly quickly too. |
