I watched this anime in one sitting due to it's short nature. I'm in general, a fan of shorter series since they give a more solid and straight forward story, which was done very well in this series, although not really as short as this one.
The emotions felt genuine although the plot itself was quite predictable. I have mixed thoughts on the lenght of the series.Though I wish that I could've spent more time with these wonderful characters, at the same time I believe making it a longer series would just dilute the emotion that this anime delivers.
In its short nature, I believe it's done the job fantastically :)
9/10 overall. The ending was great. It was short so it didn't feel dragged out at any point. The only episode I didn't like was the special episode. It felt really out of place and I just didn't like it at all.
Edit: Yep, this is definitely one of those that I can't get out of my head for a while.
I must say that this last episode was wonderful. It felt nice to watch. With that being said, I won't boost the score too much just because of one good episode. I had gripes with the rest of them.
I must give props for this anime being realistic, which might be why I don't like it too much. Just like real life in some ways, but not a real life that I'd like to have. My main problem is the characters. I didn't like either of them. The animation and voice acting or maybe just the characters invoked no emotion in me. The emotional moments didn't feel genuine to me. That really killed it.
It was nice in some ways, though, and I can't say that I hated it. Had some qualities that most anime don't, but lacked a spark.
A good clonclusion and a very nice anime overall! Rec showed to us that a story can be simple but can also be pretty good if well done! Watching it was a good experience, very heartharming series! 9/10 episode, 7/10 Overall.
