| So recently I thought "Hey HxH 2011 has finished, I'll watch the original for now." and from what friends of mine told me that I would enjoy it. Which I am but I just don't like Gon, I he's just too amazing, every shounen has the super awesome protagonist but Gon seriously. Maybe I'm not versed enough in anime to appreciate him but meh, and fan boys can hate me for voicing my opinions 10 episodes in, but I need an honest answer. Will Gon become a less annoying perfect wonder boy, or was I right to disdain him? |

| Your complaint makes no logical sense to be honest? How is he perfect? He's the most flawed main character in these adventure series. Maybe the idea of a kid being clever and intuitive intimidating coming from the norm for shonen protagonist to be all about fighting with powerups and will power. He's one of the very few MCs who actually lose battles and never do you see the author trying to forcefully glorify him. So... IDK |

| Hmm okay I agree "perfect" was the wrong word to use, but now literally 2 episodes later I find him annoying. But if he's more flawed, then I'll let him develop more. Also I like the cleverness, but this intuition of his is like 'rdm'ing on GMOD TTT until you kill all the traitors |

| Yeah, he is kind of a Mary Sue. I wish they would have given him more flaws. He only has two, stubbornness and bad at book lernin’. |
