| So you live in rural area and the nearest fire station is 30 minutes away. It will take the fire truck 25 minutes to respond if there is a fire. Your house is on fire and the fire is spreading quickly. You managed to escape with your younger siblings but your parents are still inside. 10 minutes later, the house is completely engulfed in flames and your parents are still inside. Your father is upstairs yelling for help outside the bedroom window while your mother made it to the kitchen on the first floor. What would you do? I'll be saving my mother since there should be water in the kitchen |

That being said, I'd save my mother since she's easier to get to, and tell my father to jump out the window. And why would you have stood there for 10 minutes doing nothing? | If there is a ladder available close by I'd put it up for my dad, other then that I would not try to enter the house because if my parents are not able to get out themselves I probably wouldn't make it out even if I would go after them. |

| i wouldnt be in this situation since i hate living in the sticks... developed areas FTW but if there was a fire in my house, id run and grab the fire extinguisher and start by saving the nearest person, then work my way in. |

He wouldn't be yelling for help unless he actually needed it, and a jump from the second floor can be just as dangerous as the fire. If my mom made it to the kitchen, she can make it out of the house. |
