Does anyone know where to get ahold of the limited edition printings of vol.7 Unicorn still?

Yahoo Japan Auctions, you may also get one from a seller on Amazon Japan.

I feel bad for Tokyo Ghoul, Parasyte and Aldnoah Zero

Why feel bad for Tokyo ghoul? Its whole point was advertisement for the manga and it was a huge success because its yearly manga sales went from 1 million to approximately 7 million.

14. *17,588 One Piece Log Collection "Magellan
17. *15,449 One Piece Log Collection "Promise"
I don't even know if these are considered good numbers for a longrunning anime but they look good to me.

Is not good, it is amazing. Not only One Piece is a long running, but the Log Collection is a Box-Set so it costs around 3 times more than a normal volume(1 DVD volume costs around 40 dollars, a Log Collection costs around 130 dollars).
Making 18k average sales of Box-Set around a year is Incredible amazing.
Also One Piece has this Box-Set since 2010 and it been selling like that, in reality it was better in the start, every dam year!

Parasyte is not included as it is not released in disc format yet. The first and second volume set consisting of 12 episodes will be released on March 18 and July 22 2015 respectively.

Granted, from the history of Madhouse' DVD sales, I am not that hopeful that it would even crack at 2015 list. The only profitable studio based on disc sales and merchandises are Sunrise, Shaft, KyoAni and Ufotable (if they release something).

I'm certain that you forgot Toei with DVD sales of One Piece, DVD and BD from Movies, and Merchandise for One Piece and Precure!

I just don't care about Toei. Incidentally, the building where I work is the same building where Toei Philippines is at. They are at 10th floor and I frequently see their office entrance with their One Piece and Precure figures. I just realized that the animation of Toei's animes were done in my country. Probably, that's why they suck.

What's the deal with love live? Is it actually any good to warrant such popularity?

Why don't you watch it to find out? It's not some super hard series to understand or appreciate, just watch the first 3 episodes and see if you like it. IMHO it's fun, has lovable characters and a lot of surprisingly touching moments that hit your heart like a brick. I probably cried more watching it than I did for all the Mari Okada crap. And the second season has been a huge improvement from the first season. Just be warned that it has a lot of bad drama at times.

Incidentally, I started it earlier today, seems okay... not very funny so far.

I feel Tokyo Ghoul and Parasyte ought to have done better but it's hard to feel bad for Aldnoah Zero. As it is Aniplex is already a plenty profitable enterprise, but they just went into Aldnoah Zero with so much arrogance and bluster and started with so many advantages and popular names that it ought to be pretty humbling to see it come in just under stuff like Gundam Build Fighters and probably now Knights of Sidonia in sales. See GBF and KoS never made all these grand sweeping promises about a cutting edge mecha series that would redefine the genre and supersede it's classics like Mobile Suit Gundam, Sunrise and Polygon just kind of went in and did their thing and made good fun shows with likeable characters that actually develop naturally over time, have personalities and are interesting to watch, solid production values and good execution and usage of time without any huge names like Urobuchi or Sawano or Kajiura to brag about bringing on board for all they actually accomplished.

Anyway since people are talking about Love Live, something interesting I found in terms of top selling artists that were involved in anime in 2014:

年間アーティストセールス

13位 21.8億円 μ's (Love Live)
38位 *9.7億円 Nana Mizuki
69位 *5.6億円 Jin (Kagerou Project)
77位 *4.9億円 Kalafina (Yuki Kajiura)
81位 *4.8億円 Sound Horizon (Attack on Titan)
95位 *4.0億円 King Cream Soda (Yo-Kai Watch)

if this is accurate that means μ'sgenerated more revenue for the Japanese music industry than Nana Mizuki, Jin (Kagerou Project) and the ever popular Kalafina combined or if you like it another way Jin, Kalafina, Sound Horizon and King Cream Soda the guy did the theme song to the biggest smash hit kids show since Pokemon.

Getting pass the poorly made cgi i felt Aldnoah Zero was pretty good, far better than some Gundam series. It should've been higher in sales . Granted it wasn't go to get mass sales or become the next breakthrough Mech series. While Parasyte and Tokyo Ghoul wasn't as popular in Japan i have a feeling they're going to be successful here in NA but someone still has to pick up Parasyte.

Thay are popular, just less commonly bought than other anime. Look at Tokyo Ghoul manga sales.
Aldnoah Zero is utter crap, only music and graphics are good there. Kind of like Guilty Crown but more dull.

Damn, I wanted Unicorn to be first place. Still nice, though.

Noticed not as big as before, but still good. Sunrise strong.

It is, you just have to add up all the discs since it has a huge 3 way split unlike Madoka where pretty much everyone went for the premium limited edition package. If you add up all discs you end up with some pretty interesting numbers for Japanese animated productions this year

#1 Gundam Unicorn (208,487)
#2 Kaze Tinchu (202,176)
#3 Madoka Magica Rebellion (170,762)
#4 Gintama Kanketsu-Hen (136,721)
#5 Love Live Second Season Vol 1 (115,870)
Madoka sold 184,476. Why are you lowering its sales so much? Unicorn is still #1.

This is accurate, straight from 2ch, which was from Oricon Youtaiju. The figure there includes all sales in 2014 from the weekly CD singles Top 200, CD albums Top 300, BD Top 300 and DVD Top 300, and the releases must be labelled as such. The anime BDs are labelled as ラブライブ!at Oricon, so are thus not included in the 2.1831 billion yen figure, while the concert bds and dvds are labelled as μ's, so are obviously included there.

For reference #1 and #2 on the list was obviously Arashi and AKB48, which were at 13.8234 billion and 13.0752 billion respectively. Arashi sells a ridiculous amount of concert DVDs (typically 800K+ per release), so you could imagine how successful they are. AKB48 I think I shouldn't need to explain much, as their CD singles typically sell more than 1 million copies on the 1st day of sales. So μ'sdidn't do too badly compared to those two, considering how mainstream they are.

One other interesting list I would like to see is the revenue based on franchise in 2014, which I think would include the mobile game sales (which is probably more massive than its CD sales), merchandise, anime BD sales, etc.
