I just noticed that in Eureka 7 the entire world was populated by the scub coral and it had always been like that. We then notice in Eureka 7 AO that the world had just began experiencing the scub coral. Even further Eureka goes and says that in her time line they were experiencing a dilemma with the scub coral disappearing. As far as where the scub coral originates from I suspect that it is in an infinite loop of "disappearing" and "reappearing" in the past. This answers the question as to where the scub coral originated: the future. So if the scub coral appeared at one point and existed until another point at which it would return in time to its first appearance it could be said that it always existed. This is my theory. Some may say it's stupid because it doesn't explain the scub corals first point of entry into the space time continuum, but hey- that's how time works.

This of course is my theory but I am interested in hearing others theory on the show and possibly contradictions to my own.
