THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Repeat after me, kids, "nice guys finish last." :P You've gotta admire the resolve of Mirai-san, and all of the White Base's crew. They've gone from n00bs to pretty hardcore warriors over the course of the series. |

So Amuro really just threw that module for gundam out like that? That means he have some problems with self-control. I understand his fury, but still why to throw such useful thing? Beatnik said: Yes, because starting a tale with a teenage character already perfect and with no room left for any development is the way to go. Yep! See, Beatnik? The further show goes, the more we see faults of that 'alredy perfect teenage with no room left for any development'. |

His dad has gone a little....crazy. |

He threw it away because it's trash. Amuro stated that clearly: ![]() As to why his father could make such mistake was again, clearly stated: ![]() People, why you come here to discuss when you have clearly not payed attention to the episode? Alas86 said: His meeting with his dad was kinda underwhelming... Why people complain when Amuro becomes depressed and call him names like "emo", "wimp", "wussy", and "spineless" and yet when he finally matures and recovers fast like in this case, people also complain? If this event had happened 20 episodes ago, it would had taken Amuro like 10 episodes more to recover considering how immature he was, but now not only he recovered fast, but it did not affect his combat ability in the slightest. That just shows how much he has developed as a character. |

What I got out of this comment is that you didn't pay any fucking attention at all to what was going on. It was clear that the item he gave Amuro was junk. Like Sabinlerose pointed out (hell even Amuro did) his father was, well, a bit off his rocker at this point. NFH said: Alas86 said: His meeting with his dad was kinda underwhelming... That just shows how much he has developed as a character. It's not that he recovered fast or anything it's that there just wasn't much to the scene between him and his father, it was over in like a couple of minutes and I think that hurt the depth of the scene. I guess I would say that it lacked context and dramatic punch. Not to mention that his father suddenly being alive when the last we saw him was when he was sucked out of a colony in a vacuum. It just seemed hokey to me. She said, "Don't make others suffer for your personal hatred." |
