University of Canterbury has an AnimeSociety. I'm in it. I'm yet to go to a meeting though cause I don't know anyone in it and I don't want to end up as a loner. But I plan on trying it tomorow  |

I just made auckland university anime club group on facebook not much but its a start feel free to join just look up auckland university anime club should come straight up |

The only one that really comes to mind is the AUT group that usually meets every Friday. There was also mention of starting one at http://www.geekchixxx.com/2007/05/an-auckland-anime-club/, though I don't know where things stand with that. If you guys really want an anime club, I think you're going to have to take the initiative and start one yourselves. |
