Same, lol.

Hmm...while not that important to me, the first episode was cute enough. I won't mind more.

Shouldn't MAL list it as 8 episodes? The series is 7 eps + 1 ep already released months ago = 8. Though it'd be the most logical to separate both, but then the series has the same name as that one episode...

Anyway someone do something with it because right now it just doesn't make sense and that just makes me to want to smash something. (OCD)

It's 1 + 6. The total of Candy☆Boy is 7 episodes.

I posted this in the Candy Boy thread in the Shoujo-ai & Yuri club but I'll repost here if anyone's interested

The first episode is now online on Nico Nico Douga. It clocks in at about 14 minutes total. There are no subs and you'll have to register to watch it.

For a guide how to register to Nico Nico Douga you can use

One last note. If you're getting a ton of text scrolling on the screen while watching, you can hit the comments button on the player to disable them.

Enjoy :D

The first ep' (or should i say 2nd ep) has already been released raw, just waiting for subs to pop up now.

In think yFANTgirl is right. From wikipedia "On February 2008, the Candy Boy official website has announced that seven more episodes will be produced and released online."

There was one episode of the original and now this latest episode is called Episode 1. It would be less confusing if we split the two as separate series.

We're not splitting the entries, it is once series.

And I trust AnimeNewsNetwork.com who have official infos more than Wikipedia at the moment.

If you look at Siing's comment, who got a 'new' raw but said he watched the first episoode, you might notice that they probably decided to show everything from the beginning again. That makes this 1 old episode + 6 new episodes = 7 episodes in total.

Of course we can change the DB information if this turns out to be wrong.

So what will become of the episode discussions then? The official website lists the newest one as episode 1. Our current episode 1 thread refers to the older ONA. When subs come out and more people watch they'll be led to the wrong thread.

But the "older ONA" is episode 1.

But was that confirmed? Everywhere I look, it says they'll be airing 7 new episodes. If that's the case, then why don't we have a separate entry for both the series and ONA?

I've been thinking about this for a bit, and since I haven't seen clear evidence of it being either, I'm hoping that someone here can definitively clarify what's going on.
