Well it's been released! I'm getting ready to download it right now, so opinions everyone!

Just finished it up and it's the first Naruto movie I've finished.. the other 2 are still sitting on my HD :P It was alright, nothing spectacular.. but I did like Lee's fight in the mansion and Naruto on the beach, even though they were short :(

Yeah, it wasn't terrible, but not great. I tend to prefer the series to any of the movies/ovas because they are basically just better made fillers. It was kind of funny to see the characters in their pre-Shippuuden clothes though.

Well I just watched it aswell, was kinda dissapointed it were just the small versions still of naruto and the rest. Also there was alot less action then the previous 2 movies of naruto, and I actually liked that fighting so much.

I wouldn't say it was a bad movie, but nothing out the ordinairy was ok too watch it, only good part was indeed the Lee fight inside and Naruto on the beach, rest was not much.

Pretty much agree with what's been said so far. It wasn't spectacular, and it was a bit cliché (and very predictable); definitely not as good as the previous two movies. The fighting sequences weren't that bad, though I was hoping for more to happen... and for better, more interesting bad guys.

I just finished watching it. And thanks to this movie I'm starting to like Lee ^^

watched it 5 days ago. my opinions and thoughts:

if you're used to the filler episodes' low standard, it comes as no surprise that the movie is not good.
while you guys find it as "nothing spectacular", i find it as "just bad" or "unneeded".

no cool jutsus, no good fighting scenes, the movie itself is a 94 minutes cliché.
to my surprise i consider the best fight is rock lee's.

all that pinky swear deal made me detest the movie. the saber-tooth was cool though :)

i finally watched it. i guess i'm the only one who put "loved it" - i guess i expected all the cheesy crap that comes with watching a naruto movie :D but it had parts that made me giggle which i'm missing from shippuden :(

I dunno, I thought the fight scenes weren't very interesting, and they didn't hold my interest as well as the ones from the other two movies. And the characters were a bit too one-dimensional (or y'know, typical?) for my liking :3 I haven't watched shippuden so I can't say how it compares to that XD

I agree. I didn't exactly love it though, but I did like the movie. Like you, I also expected everything that happened and so I actually did laugh at times. It was a pretty good movie and it highlighted Naruto's willingness in friends. Plus it was a bit nostalgic watching it after Shippuden xD

Firs of, I found the movie very entertaining. You could consider the first half boring, but it actually build up decent characters. The story is one of friendship, cliche and unoriginal, but something you'd except, these kinds of movies weak spot is always the story.

The best of the Naruto movies IMO. Unlike most movies of this genre, I cared for the characters, both Hiraku and his father were well developed, the story was okay, and it had sweet action scenes.

Lol at the Naruto mass shadow clone pillow, that made laugh, so many narutos popping xD

Lee and Sakura fights were great, I loved the animation and the originality of the fights. And naruto's fight on the beach was defintely sweet.

I don't get how this movie is so low-ranked by most people, I honestly think it was the better of the 3, and most of the Naruto franchise side stuff I consider average or mediocre.

I LOVED IT!
It was amazing, it almost made me cry at moments, and the fighting scenes were awesome, specially lee's fight and the part where Naruto moves the water with the Kyubi's chakra

My only complain is, why didn't the kill the father before? That kinda looked stupid, but the rest was awesome
