| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh boy, that didn't take long for the fan service to get started from this episode.. Poor Ellen, she got hit hard this episode as I think she needs to be careful of her opponents these days. That operation did not good very smooth at the caves. It's too bad we won't get to see much of the other Vanadis at all with just one more episode. Sigh and the latest episode felt rushed too. |

| Well that was pretty well adapted tbh. Dat OST during the underground battle was awesome! And I felt more for Bertland's death than the LN. Music choice was on point :3 Let's see how they do the last ep. |

| So Tigre lost one of his most importuned which is sad but he died doing something he wanted to do the big question now is will Tigre be able to overcome his sorrow fast. Seeing the state the city was in he doesn't have much time to greave and needs to make decisions fast. His enemies won't wait for him. Judging from the current situation we won't get a conclusion this season unless it's incredibly rushed which is definitely something i don't want to happen. And hopefully it won't. |

Eleonora stops because rocks block the way, even though she could blast them away, but Bertrand, who was behind her and generally established as less fit than a soldier should be manages to overcome her, gets through the rocks blocking and throws himself into the sword in like two seconds total? Also, i don't know if they figured that the war maidens were portraited way too strong initially and used Roland and Thenardier to show that other people are just as capable. Though so far we don't know if Thenardier used a magical weapon. And either way, Eleonora is too narrow-minded. She either doesn't use her powers at all, or goes all out. Can't she adjust the power, so she easily breaks the enemies sword and armor, but doesn't totally obliterate him? Also, she *does* use her powers to escape, but why not use it to get behind the enemy? Block his weapon, disarm him etc.? It looks like she only got her power recently. If she doesn't have to actually think using it, she can use them, but she has no finesse whatsoever. However, she is supposed to be a war maiden for some years by now.. |

Seems like they want to wrap up the entire Civil War in one episode, which makes this just rushed as heck. Still, I'm hoping for a second season, which I personally would push for. |

| Love how this episode had like 30 seconds of fanservice in total, and all the fags are like "Gawd this episode had so much fanservice! It's killing the anime". The fuck drugs are you kids on? Cuz I want some. idk if they appeared in any other episode, but at least this episode confirmed that Elen does wear panties under her skirt. Also just realized she's voiced by Haruka Tomatsu. Fucking awesome. Lim being voiced by Iguchi Yuka is cool too. Tbh most of the cast for this show is extremely good. I'm surprised I didn't notice sooner. Wonder how they'll end it next week. I hope it gets a season 2. Despite some parts feeling rushed and some things being cut from the source material, there are a lot of things that were supposedly adapted pretty well, and the story itself is pretty interesting. And boobs. |
