Originally a light novel series written by Yanai Tagami that debuted in 2010, the fantasy series received a manga adaptation in June 2011 which is still ongoing.The website domain was previously registered in October. | Yup, interesting. Now I wonder what studio will adapt this...maybe the same as Outbreak Company? Anyways, I'm expecting 1 cour and hopefully not much censoring. The manga has 42+ chapters and is still ongoing. Good to know though since I enjoy the series. |

| This is a great series, I've thought it deserved an anime animation since I started reading the manga version, but never expected it would actually happen. The premise is rather like Outbreak Company (which I just got to watching, incidentally; it's not horrid), but the story is vastly better. It isn't exclusively about otaku culture, and shit gets a lot more real. Those looking for pure military/otaku wish-fulfillment are going to find some parts that make them uncomfortable—unless of course they're too oblivious to care. The art in the PV looks good, which is good, since it'll have to include some spectacular scenes! My guess is this will be 1 cour but with an incomplete ending setting up for a second season if it does well. |
