I'm looking for Protagonist that was sent to the past and uses his/her modern day knowledge to help the people from the past or change the future..

Edit*

I mean sent to the past like samurai era or farther and uses modern tech.

Don't know if you've watched it already, but that sounds like Oda Nobuna no Yabou.

Thermae Romae has the reverse plot. A bath designer in ancient Rome is sucked through a time tunnel and ends up in a modern-day Tokyo bathhouse. He takes some of the technologies he discovers back with him to Rome.

I'm looking for something like the protagonist is a total nerd/genius and he goes back/forcefully sent to the past.. then using modern technology like farming, tool making, advance machinery and more.

Something like that maybe

sorry I didn't see the edit. yeah I think he only uses his phone once, and it utterly fails but is pretty hilarious.

There is not somewhat technology implied, but Himiko Den classics OVAs have this sense of traveling on the very first ancient Yamato kingdom, first name of Japan. Demons and magic, somewhat zombies too and matial arts, well, the pro is ankward so he have good ideas . . . Try it!

Idem with Milenary Dragon Leyend great quality animated film. The pro at first is ridiculously manipulative, is sent to Heian Era.

I'll tell you something, my Tenchi. You know, the carnival comes and goes... if you wait for a while, it'll always come back to you, Tenchi.

already watched that.. but all he's doing is just predicting the future from his game and not actually taking advantage of his modern knowledge to improve the feudal era he is in.

almost but not quite. I'm looking for the protagonist to improve the whole era's technology... like wanting to advance ancient rome's tech to almost modern times.
