| It could be a sequel, but it's hard to tell at this point. If anything we can conclude from the silhouette that it probably won't have the same cast of characters. The silhouette also deconfirms an adaptation of Rewrite since none of the girls fit the silhouette. It also won't be anything on the visual novel since Aniplex is involved, and they have already planned on revealing news on the visual novel on the 27th. It would seem odd for them to release information 5 days apart on the same thing. I hope it's not a sequel. If there's anything I want it's a prequel. It would be more interesting if we got to know more about this guy. This also helps to introduce the new girl that is in the silhouette since he apparently fell in love with someone and that person was never shown. |

| well i think if it has something to do with anime. 1)Sequel for ending ,reincarnation Haruhi Suziyama Yuri Nakamura SOS club. 2)Sequel for alternate ending,otonashi is the council prez and new characters cast and he must help them find their peace. or ofc it can be some ova,movie,new heroine in vn or it can be Otonashi's sister Afterlife with new cast? |

| Not sure what this announcement could be, but if you want my opinion. Following the final scene of the anime where he walks past Kanade in the street. I don't think it needs a second season in that sense, to me it wouldn't be Angel Beats anymore if they were all alive and not dead. I know this is extremely likely to not happen, but I'm kinda half hoping it's a redo of the anime, with like 24 episodes or so, to be able to get the complete story across. To me it kinda felt, unfinished, like the 13 episodes didn't explain everything good enough, it felt like there was more to it. Again, I doubt this well happen, call it the insane thinking of someone who wanted the anime to be 2-cour instead :v |
