| Good to see "Hoozuki no Reitetsu" in the top 5. This is one of the underrated series from the recent years. Aside the upcoming OVAs, I hope they announce a second season someday. |

This is quite comfortably the worst selling volume of the series since volume 5, and probably the lowest since at least volume 3. |

| Looks like 1 year and 4 months without a new volume + change of edition hurt a lot Rokka no Yuusha's sales. It used to reach 15k in one week, it didn't even rank this time. It's a bad news for the new publisher Dash X bunko, which if I'm not mistaken only has Hatena illusion in its line up doing fine with 12k sales. Even with the help of a wonderful illustrator, looks like Fang of Underdog didn't manage to attract enough customers to rank. Gosick Blue is appearing in the ranking, that's a surprise. Gosick Red last year didn't rank, mainly because the release week was far more competitive than this week though. The sales are very far away from what the title was getting for its first series / volume. 116k for Oregairu 10 already, looks like this one is doing quite fine. |

| Looks like those 1 year and 4 months also affected my memory as well. After looking at the last sales numbers, that's right, 7.3k sales. I probably confused with the sales number of another LN I follow~ But, wasn't the cut off previous week at 3700? Well we don't know then, but there's probably quite a drop, can't expect any miracle on this. Still, Dash X bunko doesn't start very well in any case. Chronicle legion ranked last week with 6k, and Hatena Illusion is at 12k but... Considering the week they were published wasn't with a lot of competition imo, and that they released a lot of volume for their first release, that's a bit worrisome. |

| Quite interesting indeed... Boku no Hero Academia charted the 1st week, then missed the Top 50 threshold for the next 2 weeks, then had some sort of sales boost back into the Top 50 list. The cut-off last week for Bunko Top 50 list was 5,862: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1314423. The 3,755 is actually rank 12 on the Book Literature Top 20 list from last week (cut-off for that list was 2,510), so it would have never ranked on that list (since it is bunko format). It's only chance to rank was the Top 50 Bunko list, as the Light Novel list had a threshold higher than the Bunko threshold. It can get confusing trying to figure out what the actual thresholds are if you look at the MAL lists, and not how Oricon actually releases the data, which is a Top 50 Bunko list, Top 50 Books list, Top 20 Light Novel list (which could be bunko or book format), Top 20 Book Literature List, and Top 10 Light Novel Series. |

| Lol @ NGE's manga selling so well. The amount of money that franchise has brought is insane. I thought Kiseijuu has reprints but I have seen it in the rankings only once. Is the anime boost not sufficient to reach the threshold or am I missing something? Did Terra Formars even have an anime boost at all? It seems like the sales are just slightly higher than what I remember from last year. | Boku no Hero Academia is doing very well sales wise for the first volume, I personally don't like it much so far (4 chapters), but I am still gonna stay to see how it develops. Happy to see Baby Steps on the list, a bit disappointed it didn't get into the top 30 for the yearly sales. Daiya no Ace, Haikyuu, and Yowapeda were there. |
