This has to be the most disturbing episode I’ve seen. It was absolutely amazing, it left me in suspense at every moment; I surely won’t forget about it anytime soon. I actually panicked when Ginko was stabbed. …Parents love their children no matter what they are, don’t they…? |

1. What the fuck? 2. Holy shit Ginko! 3. "Its not our fault".. "Its not our fault either"..."Then why?"..."Because we're stronger." Very true. Modified by MaedhrostheTall, 12-31-11, 2:28 PM Dad, I'm in space. I am proud of you, Son. Dad, are you space? Yes, now we are a family again. - Space Core |

Osaka117 said: That's gotta be the weirdest ep yet. I had a WTF face on the entire time. At least the eerie-ish music at the end perfectly matched the blatant weirdness of this episode. I, too, was kind of shocked when Ginko got stabbed. When the screen just showed her grabbed him, I thought she was just trying to hold him back - it didn't even occur to me that he could have been stabbed... d'oh. |

Reminded me of Children of the Corn, or in this case I guess "Children of the Fungus" Harems don't exist in America. If one guy is constantly surrounded by beautiful girls, then he's probably the gay friend. |

You know, I think Ginko should have destroyed them the first time... She could try to have another child, one that won't cause her grief. But nice episode. I was worried when Ginko was stabbed. T_T |

I'm re-watching Mushishi and I was dreading this episode. I'm pretty much fine with everything, just not creepy babies, it was a naive mistake to entrust the parents with killing the Mushi. I wondered a lot how can the mother love such beings, but then I remembered, we only saw their unusual behaviors in the episode, we didn't see the moments where they acted like normal children, but still she's crazy, and her husband's reactions were priceless. Oh no, eyerok must had a heart attack knowing when his hero was stabbed! Plato is my friend — Aristotle is my friend — but my greatest friend is truth |

I was like "WTF NOO" for a split second, then I realized it was ep 21 and I calmed down lol. "Droll thing life is—that mysterious arrangement of merciless logic for a futile purpose. Commenting halfway through the episode to point out that when Ginko woke up after being stabbed, he still had a cigarette in his mouth -_- and laughs were had. |

Ginko, smoking even after passing out. Nice episode, but I will never understand the delusional people we see in some episodes. |

Wonderful episode as usually. So I am assuming the mushishi child is Ginko's campanion now? either way one of the creepier episodes, and when Ginko got stabbed I was actually quite shocked. ![]() ☯ĄŴĖŞŐΜĖ☯! |

For the first time, I'm not sure what Ginko did was right or wrong. My logic says that he did the right thing, the thing that would at some point make the family happy again or at least not make it more painful for them. On the other hand it was ethically wrong to "steal" their baby and lie to them, even though it was the best thing for them. I like it, sometimes people don't know what is best for them and therefore you must lie to them, so that they may live happy... Welp, horror's always just right around the corner. Are we gonna be expecting a talking liquid face now for the rest of the series? Could be pretty sweet. |
