You don't like this sites blue theme? No problem anymore. Steps:
Dark Theme ![]() Dark backgrounds and red/white font. If you are bored and know a little css, try to make some other themes and post them here. ;-) Modified by Mathes, 01-15-10, 1:10 PM |

yuuko said: what happens if u have safari? i feel discriminated...T_T Then you just have to wait until Firefox 3 comes out, then you can deinstall Safarai and take Firefox instead without worries ('cause most people take safari because of the speed -and firefox 3 will be as fast as Safari and there are plenty of Safari themes for firefox) If you use Mac, then just take "Campino", it's also firefox based and works too. ;-) |

Opera has this feature by default. There's a nice White-On-Black-CSS. i just can't bring myself to pimp it to my personal preferences. White is just too light. *opera fanboy* |

White is just too light. *opera fanboy* you can load the stylish styles into opera too and you don't even need the plug-in then ('cause of the reason you already said) ;-) |

Death to I.E! Join! lol and.. there is one problem with the stylesheet - it applies to all of MAL. Regardless of peoples personal css styles. perhaps a url exclusion could be included in the style, which will make it not overwrite personal animelist (and mangalist) css styles. I may look into this later in my spare time. Its a step in the right direction anyway. Maybe you like all of the links to be dark red regardless of what other people set >:) in which case; fair enough keep using the current style script. Thanks to Mathes for his contribution. An Alternate Direction To achieve our Darker goals: I think perhaps we should talk to Xinil about adding optional color shade preferences for peoples accounts. just a basic set -Black/Red -Blue/White etc. I dont know how viable it is. its just a thought :P Modified by sh4z, 02-12-08, 5:57 PM |

yeah i know that it overwrites personal anime and mangalists but i didn't find anything to exclude them so if you get to know a way tell me. ;-) (i would know a way: naming all the pages exept anime & manga list but that would be quite some work..) |

Well. Opera does allow you to specify settings for every page respectively. But i haven't tried if this also covers certain pages within the same domain. Probably would, but i am too lazy, so i can't be bothered to test it. Anyway, i agree that this is a thing that should be supported by MAL itself - similar to themes for forums or other portals such as aniDB. If you are so concerned then you'll just figure things out or are satisfied with all of MAL looking the same (DARK DARK DARK). There should be a club for Minions. These things seem so trivial. After all, the Dark Lords i know never take action until all their Minions are defeated. My insanity drives me to off-topic-ness. Guess i'll have to kill something again as a sacrafice for my behaviour. |

D: http://userstyles.org/styles/5263 But it's not really finished so tell me anything that doesn't fit yet. ;-) (i have to overwork the logo too again...) |
