 It has been announced that Sidonia no Kishi will receive an anime movie which will be a recap of the first season with additional scenes and re-edited sound effects. The movie will premiere in March 6, 2015 and the second season of Sidonia no Kishi will then air in Spring 2015.Update The source of the scan also mentioned that Blame!, another series by mangaka Tsutomu Nihei, will also be animated as part of the Sidonia no Kishi series. The adaptation of Blame! is expected to be animated within the eighth episode of the second season.
