| We already have boxing, martial arts, swimming, tennis, basketball, breadmaking, we're going to get a cooking anime soon, football, and skateboarding. And car racing. And baseball. And soccer. Personally I'd love to see a 12 episode series on skydiving, maybe a 50 episode series on kayaking, and a 100+ episode series on mountain climbing (There is a manga on mountain climbing but I didn't really like it that much). | Since Hockey is the only sport I can actively watch and feel excitement for, than I will suggest this. Think about it, it's on ice so there is constant action, goals are hard to score so when it happens- instant hype. And, it's also a sport with brutal collisions and fights. It would probably never happen, but yeah, some Hockey announcers can paint pictures with their dialogue so I think that might be interesting. GO Devils! |

| Any sport that hasn't been done yet I kind of like the idea though, of something along the lines of E-sports, but with a SAO point of view while they're competing, and a normal school life (genre) when they're not. With themes of growing up and maturing like in FLCL. Maybe they realize in the end after losing some big tourny, that gaming can't support them in the long run, and decide to get serious about life. Something along those lines would be nice. |

If an actual esports team in Japan formed, I'd have a hard time imagining all the shit talk the Koreans would say if the anime set huge expectations on the team. This would be different if the esports anime took place with a different country but every competitive anime likes to make the protagonists Japanese |
