THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Pretty interesting episode. I laughed when they saw Jason in the hallway. And also at the end when Chitose said "Horror is love, right?"

It is neither interesting nor funny. I can't bond with any of the characters so far. And the storyline is plain dull and boring and pointless. I fear I don't get it at all. (shrug) feel like I'm wasting my time with this

EDIT
no wonder this is ranked 2000s something

Eh... the last ep was funnier.

Still funny as hell though. Why is it so hard to see the obvious humour?

^Obvious humour =/= good humor, nor something that makes everyone laugh. It really depends on how the pace is and how it's employed, and imo this show doesn't do it very well.

Anyway, wanted to post because of the fake family moment: it's sadly only for comedic purposes here, but it would work wonderfully in seinen or anything with some dark-oriented psychological aspect. How it started and everything seemed normal to them, the synchronized short laughs/movements and them talking one at a time was great, along with the backing track which slightly reminded me of Courage the Cowardly Dog's Fusilli (last ep of s1). I really did not expect something like this in this show, and it was well pulled off.

Too bad it wasn't actually funny, because the staff would be doing well in another genre with such a scene and pace (without the 'return to how it actually is' moment though).
