| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So we witness glimpses of flashbacks with Kousei's mother. Obviously, it isn't very happy. Well, I'm glad to see that they made it on time. It would of sucked if they didn't. I thought the performance on stage this episode was nice, at least on Kaori's part. Kousei's performance was a bit sloppy but I'm guessing that's probably because of his past. Heh, Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars again. Good performance by Kousei near the end though. |

| He's nervous and she calmed him down. It progressed well until he cannot hear the music anymore. He stopped and she told him to play again. He was able to be back on track because he remembered the mother when she was kind. Though she fell. 10 mins delayed next? |

| That performance was wildly amazing. (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Kousei was able to get back and play along with Kaori. Tsubaki looked like she just realized something. The audience's cheers angered that one judge, haha. That cliffhanger... I hope Kaori is okay. |

| Great to finally see THE performance animated to music. They changed it a bit from how it played out in the manga and I wish the part where they were going HAM at the end was longer, but overall it was nicely done by A-1. I really loved the animation of Kousei sinking/playing in water. He is still a bitch but at least mans up a little in this episode. And then we're going to be back to good old fashion school love-drama next week. |

| Actually hearing the performance changes the immersion alot. They did an excellent job at showing Arima's perspective by making it sound like hes underwater, with no sound. Definitely liking the anime's version more then the manga's. Excellent adaptation so far, loving this very much :]! |
| Great episode, Arima went ham *cough*the zone anyone? The cliffhanger is kinda worrisome but it was expected since she has a frail body, just hope she doesn't have to get hospitalised or anything of such. .__. |

| Damn! Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso manga was really meant to be heard (and watched/seen) not to be read with illustrations! I really like that performance! The music is awesome! Though the piano was a bit off but I still like it. That "Deep Dark Sea" was scary, I was now scared with that feeling on the Anime which I didn't felt when reading the manga. Kaori and Kosei performance was very good Though Kosei messed up in the middle but they still nailed it in the end! That ending with Kaori collapsing after performance though. Can't wait to watch and hear for the next episode next week!. |

| Another great episode. It was very interesting to see the performance as Kousei was seeing it, with the whole underwater business and stuff. It's a great way to show what he experiences, and one which I didn't see coming. Speaking of things I didn't see coming, that episode ending came right out of left field. I hope it's not as bad as it looked. |

| Ehh... I'm feeling like... When I watched Onegai Teacher and MC had a 'standstill'. Yeah, I know that it is stupid comparison, but I just remembered it. Ending was awesome What a incredible girl!!!! But last frame???!!! But anyway, I still love this anime. |

It was awesome, again. I'm just loving this show so much. It does have its issues though, for instance all of Kousei's friends are assholes for forcing him to re live his trauma. Even though his friends are jerks, and Kaori is annoying, I'm so invested in Kousei that I'm basically watching the show for him Ok, Kaori can be interesting...sometimes. I hope whatever's wrong with her, there won't be any forced melodrama |

| Kaori is just tooo beautiful :O Esp in that dress. Sooo pretty >.<!! Her smile melts the soul :3 The performance was really cool until what happened to Kousei... But shit that was creepy seeing his mothers ghost like that. Scary as F***! No wonder he loses his way XD Loved how he forced his body to remember And entered the ZONE XD and started a musical brawl with Kaori XD Lots of fun :3 Dat ending though :O Is this related to why Kaori needed to go to the hospital?!?! Does she have some kind of serious disease or sth? D: |

| To perform something without any kind of rehearsal is pretty disappointed and disrespectful. The tension is pretty well represented. What Kousei's mom says in the beginning of the episode is about 100% right, poor direction to make it sound as if she was just a freak or alienated or whatever similar to this. |

| Episode by episode I'm falling deeper in love with this anime. Their performance was amazing, when they stopped I was inwardly shouting for them to start over, and so they did! Also, wasn't expecting that ending, now I wonder what's gonna happen to Kaori, can't wait for the next episode! |

| Music in this series is just amazing! These scenes *.* These colors! Really start to love this series! <3 I always kinda sad about all manga which are about music and they always left without anime. Just how much others series like this lose without anime?! |

| Very good episode especially that ending so damn epic. The performance was amazing but I pray that Kaori will be fine she just put her heart and soul into this performance. Kousei also did a great job he went through his downs but he got stronger at the end. I love him as the MC so far it just shows his character progression. And the animation was flawless again cant wait until next week. |

| Simply perfect! Great episode! They could have ended the whole series with this episode and then announce sequel called Your Lie In May. Anyway just fantastic. The music was so beautiful. I like how they bought to life Kousei's deep sea problem. I can see how Kousei feels now when he is playing music. I love Kaori more and more. She stop playing just for him to get himself together. The whole thing was with his mom was also great. I now think that she was not always like that towards Kousei. Tsubaki looks like she might be jealous if them. Dat ending I was not expecting. I hope she is okay. Can't wait for the next episode. 6/5. |

| Kaori still beats Kousei... Sadly that's how they work for now. After I watched this episode I can feel sadness towards Kousei, he's obsessed with his dead mother and he can't move on. I like the way they showed what happened at the recital. The water effect added to the piano sound and the ghost are a good way to show it. Obviously Arima failed and they tried again. |

| Kousei enters za zone. you know shit got serious when someone enters za zone. I know the music was meant to be out sync and all, but i didn't like the performance at all actually. although i did love how Kousei was struggling with his problem and how they handled it. |
| This was simply amazing. The whole episode just felt right. The pacing was really good, we've got to learn something about Kousei's past and the performance was stunning. The ending.... Well, the ending was also kind of fitting, since it was interesting to see such an episode ending on a bittersweet tone. Overall 5/5. |
