Cartoon Network's sister network Toonami announced on Friday that it will air InuYasha: Kanketsu-hen (InuYasha: The Final Act) starting November 15th at 2:00 a.m. EST.

The Toonami staff stated that they will edit the show to a TV-MA rating, but do not anticipate making many edits.

I heard Inuyashas ending was horrible and/or incomplete. Is this true? Because I remember enjoying it when I was younger but I don't want to begin a 100 ep+ series where the show doesnt end/end properly like Hunter x Hunter for example

The first InuYasha series run from 2000-2004, had 167 episodes and had an open ending. The sequel, InuYasha Kanketsu-hen (2009), has 26 episodes and concludes the story. So it's safe to say that InuYasha is indeed complete.

Don't talk to me about character development if Kaizuka Inaho or Slaine Troyard are in your favorites.

Good news indeed; I miss InuYasha and need to get around to re-watching and finishing it sometime.

Too bad I don't have Cartoon Network.

I'll rewatch Inuyasha. Inuyasha was my first anime I ever watched (although Bleach is when I began watching subbed shows) and I always enjoyed it.

Like, the foundation of knowledge you'd need to impart to this person before you could even begin to drag them out of their sinkhole of ignorance would cost thousands of dollars, if it were coming from a University?" -MAL in a nutshell.

What the Hell is there to edit in the first place? There isn't anything, unless I'm not remembering something.

I love this show.

I am watching it all the way through for the first time now, and I am now finally to the final battle with naraku in kanketsu hen.

Shit is awesome. I really enjoy inuyasha for the characters, romance, world, and fights. Its really had some awesome villains in Naraku, Bankotsu, Kagura, Kanna, Byakuya, Jakotsu, and Shishinki.

Of course Sesshomaru Sama is one of the best characters.

I don't understand some peoples complaints. I like the first and second season. I guess it would have been cool to make kenkatsu hen 52 eps and had same pace as first season, but I prefer the way it is because it feels more like the "final battle" at this speed.

I also don't understand the complaints about it turning into a "Barrier" fest at the end.

Really it turns into more of a steal yokai energy from each other to try to power up to beat the other match more than anything. Barriers are worth next to shit near the end.

Anyway, I love Inuyasha. Obviously its not in my very top favorites but I highly reccomend it to anyone interested. Worth a watch.

Is this a sequel to Inuyasha? An OVA? Or is it like a separate arc?

Meanwhile, Toonami cannot air episode 9 and 10 of Hellsing Ultimate. Guess Inuyasha will be its replacement

"So…when we started out we were told we were getting all 10 Hellsing Ultimates. And it turns out we aren’t. Sorry. We encourage you to finish the story where you can find it. We will always try to do our best, but sometimes that isn’t good enough. Enjoy it while it’s on.
XOXOX
