The West may have fully online highschools, but Japan has stepped it up a notch and introduced a virtual high school.

Enter Meisei Cyber High School

Students only have to show up for guidance counseling and will get a real diploma after the standard 3 years of attending. It looks like the typical game on mobileshit, but it's so much better than regular HS in Japan where it's cruel and depressing. A great solution for those who don't want to get out of the house and may decrease the suicide rate among HS students.

To get 100% of school aged teenagers into highschool (it's at 97% right now and HS isn't mandatory in Japan).

japan has birthrate problems so to sustain their future economy they need as much youth to go to school now in order for their youth to help the economy later on

Wow... an actual school that's basically an educational game. Well, I guess it can motivate people. They should add simulation dating in it, too, for lunch period, after-school, or breaks between classes, VN style. :-) Then people will really never have to leave their screens.

Hikikomori's dont even have to step out even once lol but this would make them a bit more social right?

I hate having to take some courses online, think this is a great idea for online colleges and such
