| Warning: this comment is affected by me marathoning like 16 eps of the last season a few weeks ago. I just wish for Inter-High to end... I can't deal with this utter bs anymore. Sure, parts of it are entertaining, some parts offer nice characterisation and I still enjoy the hell out of the end scenes, but everything else just makes me cringe. I feel like there's nothing really left of the series I started to watch, with Onoda and everyone else becoming Super Sayan. I'll try to fight through this IH at least, maybe watching ep a week helps cool me down lol. If I didn't watch cycling irl I feel I could enjoy Yowapeda a lot more D: |

Despite the flashback, Hakone is advancing with the red-hair guy and Imaizumi will also overcome his setbacks. Glad to have Yowa back! |

| And the new season starts with a BAM. Short recap at the beginning, but wow I didn't expect them to jump right back into the race. That was excellent, and the OP/ED are much more dramatic this time around. This episode got me super excited! So many close calls and some surprises here and there. And watermelon murder, hahaha. |
| The new team that will appear this season doesn't look really sane, I hope their ace or captain won't be as crazy as Midousuji. This time, I'll accumulate more episodes so that I can marathon it. Midousuji's antics always make my jaw drop. Lovin' the ED. |

| New OP/ED are great! Really solid episode. I'm so hyped for next week. I hope they end the 2nd day race lol I'm dying to find out what happens. This is my Fall AOTS at the moment. Only (small) complaint is that there was too many audience comments like "Whoa! They're so fast!" or "They must be crazy!" or "That's impossible!" | The less screen time Onoda gets, the better. I feel like the only times I rate episodes 3 and higher are ones where Onoda gets little to no screen time :) Anyways, Hakone is my favorite team so I hope they win XD even though I like Kinjou a lot |
| Wow no wonder they couldn't end it last season, this is dragging so much, basically the same thing repeated again and again. Or maybe this episode was made for those who waited for 3 months, and they couldn't end the race on the first episode, it needed some time for people to get back into the series. I am pretty bored to be honest. |

| Nice start to the new season, we are right where we were left off. So plan 49 is you blocking an ace assistant? Lucky for Sohoku they are pulled away already, but Imaizumi never thought Sohoku would be their opponent anyway. What a nice way Imaizumi manipulated that small fry, by telling him he will become their next ace...brutal, but smart. Freaking Shinkai is back. Yay. Nice plan Sohoku, using a new assistant just like that, makes sense why Arakita was pulling Shinkai. Assistant of an assistant huh? There goes Midosouji plan. I like how he said screw plans in the end all that matters is strength now. True. All his plans turned on his head. He didn't expect Sohoku to be a contestant, he was wrong, he thought Shinkai would suffer from low morale and unable to fight, he was wrong. He thought Hakone's riders would be left over,he was wrong. So now screw plans, all that matters is strength now. They will battle others in head to head battle without tricks, nice. The damn best part though is Imaizumi. A freaking M V P. He got so much development it's incredible. He knows that without his team he wouldn't have made this far, that now it's not battle between him and Midosouji it's a team battle, he wants to win for a team and not because he wants to beat Midosouji, that development is incredible. How he got up after that push from Midosouji, nearly falling. How he just goes as a bull without caring what happens to him, he just goes without stopping, definitely like Kinjou was one year ago. Actually exactly like Kinjou. Get hurt=still ride, your team trusts in you=make sure you don't disappoint them. DId you see Kinjous face? He was shocked to see Imaizumi this way, maybe he sees himself in him now? |
