Theme: Badassery
Can we all agree upon what this theme means exactly without needing clarification? :p

So who's going to nominate a track from G Gundam?

LOL...the theme made me think of Sengoku Basara for some reason. I suppose you can expect me to pick a track from SB's Red and Blue OST.

This is more of a "swashbuckling" badass than I guess your typical "this is a badass" type of music would be, but it's the theme song of Kogarashi, one of the more badass characters in anime around.

Shiro I would nominate G Gundam, but I already did that last week. :(

Instead I'm going to be a little obvious here with this one, but in a way that still manages to through a curveball by not being the track everyone is probably expecting from this show:

Why this one? It is quite a kick-ass theme for the heroine with some badass boomerang skills. Also, I love the awesome percussion on this track.

I was wondering why there was no post from claymore yet. I view Claymore as one of the greater pieces of anime's with great music. I myself am quite new to this thread and will try and bring my flavor.

As for this piece, i was confused which song to take because i view badass as a more of tough. some might view it as evil or something that scares people, but i dissagree. good people (in anime's at least) can still be badass (like Frau in 07 ghost). this song prettymuch explains how i feel about the whole badassness theme, it's definetly badass but not evil.

Please, more claymore music would be great!

I really have no idea where to begin. My first instinct is to wait. Then go to Gurren Lagann. Then someone did already. I also don't really want to nominate from a show that won first place previously (doesn't stop me still)!

The music is not what you think it should be, but it accompanies one of the most badass fights in anime history IMO...top 20 maybe. So let's see how it fares with yall.

Here's also another possibility: the super long macross frontier medley. It's sort of badass. in a very different way.

Quite funny really, because i was planning to nominate this (that or Aimo O.C.), though i wasn't sure if it's a bit long, or some people just wouldn't get it. :3

Or i can just nominate Holy Lonely Light by Fire Bomber.

Claymore's showing should be interesting since the soundtrack never really made an impression on me when I watched the show. Probably because I was too angry about the War in the North debacle.

Reserving a space here, I've got an idea but I need to check it out thoroughly first.

This. Basara/Fukuyama's opening scream is awesome. \o

omo: The buildup to the 4th minute is worth it for your song. I remember how so many Kenshin episodes during that saga ended with this song. :3
