| Handa's mother went berserk mode xD Her pouting was too cute. She leaps and jumps to punch Kawafuji because of his comment. xD Handa returns to the village and is back with everyone. Back to where the show started, but only this time Handa has a goal he's aiming for. |

| Just finished this today. At first I wasn't expecting it to be anything special but I couldn't be more wrong. Funny parts were brilliant! Characters too. this episode: I loved the scene when he came back with the 'impulse' and 'pain' reference laughed a lot, gonna miss it |

| Who would've thought that a slice of life anime could be soooo good? I sure didn't, but after watching this I definitely feel like watching some more. Props to this anime for far surpassing my expectations ;) It gets a 9/10 from me. |

| My final thoughst about the whole show: It had much potential to become a nice slice-of life show with a deeper message and some character development attached to it. It has an rather original plot with the calligraphy writer which was interesting to go into, especially when you never heard of this artform. But the whole story which wanted to revolve around him not being able to get any inspiration and therefore escaping to the island to seek it felt unimportant and only secondary to the childish comedy, and therefore couldn’t be taken seriously which is my biggest problem of the show. The time spend with him finding inspiration or him learning something new and developing therefore was shut down to make the cheap comedy, which most of the time considered around him being annoyed very quickly and everyone tries to annoy him. Sure you can see this anime as a cute slice of life comedy show, but like I said before is too little time spend in actually come up with new ways to make it funny and cute. Also does the cuteness of a show decrease if your main protagonist is an adult who looks down on these kids. Sure the little girl started of very adorable and funny at the start, but became less of a focus around later on and she didn’t vary with what she does (well that may be realistic, but in a cute kids show that makes her more and more uninteresting the longer it processes). I felt like the writers though naru had a very important role in him getting inspiration, but since that was merely the case it felt weird he wroter her name the biggest at his callegrahpy at the end. The teenage kids where completely unnecessary and felt like they got nothing better to do than to annoy the main protagonist, as if they got some complexes. The ending however was very refreshing since they made him kinda develope into not carring about the results on the competition. Overall I would say that this slice of life comedy anime had the potential to be more than just that, with very life-meaningful messages to it, but it failed because of the overuse of comedy. But because of its originality with the calligraphy aspect I gave this anime a 5/10 |

| Finally he return to the place where he is most happy as that was a great way to end this series. Really his Mom was the most unique Character in this Anime. Overall it was very good and heart warming anime but in the End I want this god Damn Telphone  |

| I love Hina chan. Man Handa's mom is awesome. Shes got op fighting moves, completely rekt Kawafuji. I also love Naru. I love the OP song but its the video thats even more awesome. The part when Naru opens the door was awesome. This was a AWESOME anime and wish i seen it sooner. So good!!!! 5/5 this episode and 9/10 for the series. Hope theres a 2nd season! |

I'm very happy how this ended , tho I don't know if I'm the only one who wish if there's a little bit of romance in the series :3 Is there any chance of making a new season T^T) ! cause I'm really going to miss it :') |
| show went downhill from EP 1, which had 9-10 rating potential in my book way too many shitty filler activities imo.. if they focus more on naru and MC + plot, then this will easily be 9+/10 =/ |

| I liked the ending and Handa's decision to go back to the island and it was really cute and heartwarming to see everyone so happy about his return. I did hope for Handa to get first place but the result he got did fit the idea of him slowly working and improving on his own style and since he himself seems okay with the result it's good :) Very nice anime with lots of funny and touching moments and loveable characters, I really hope it'll get a second season one day :) |

| The only thing I regret was not watching this while this aired. Anyhow, this gave me the same feeling as watching Non Non Biyori and Gin no Saji. Maybe it was the country setting that makes watching animes like these refreshing. I rated this higher than NNB and GnS because I'm a sucker for awkward protagonists and characters. With Tama and everyone. I just love the characters in the story. I hope this gets a second season! |

| I really like this kinds of shows the one where they show the countryside, so relaxing. A nice pace breaker after watching action shounen animes. I could really relate to the MC not finding inspiration but finding them in the most peculiar and unsuspecting ways. Besides that it has the most diverse characters in one show which is really amazing. I mean you have kids, grandmas, grandpas, teenagers, adults, and everything in between. The comedy is great. I especially liked the "mistaken shounen ai" moments it really makes me crack. But the lessons learned in each episode is what makes this series a good one. One can really learn a thing or two. This series might not appeal to all but for me it really hits the mellow spot. 10/10. |
| Damn, good genes do run in the family. His mom is so adorable, and his dad is awkward too lol I will surely miss this show. Well, I do not expect for a second season judging from the ending but it would totally be nice if it will. This was a sweet series that I wouldn't mind re-watching. |
