 It has been revealed that the Monogatari novel series will be continued after the Final Season. The final volume of the Final Season, Zoku Owarimonogatari, features a teaser for Monogatari Series: Next Season. The first story of the next season will be titled Tsugimonogatari.The novel series by Isin Nisio began publishing in 2006. | More Monogatari is definitely not a bad thing, not sure if it's necessary tho. Have mixed feelings about this, but it all depends on what stories this will entail. More Kaiki for example is always a good thing. For now I only care for the Final Season and Kizu anime however. Hurry up, Shaft! |
| I'm hardly against this but Shaft's organisation is a bit laughable at times, adapting new instalments into the franchise whilst putting off something that's been planned for years, not to mention the delay to Hanamonogatari Are they completely swerving Kizumonogatari or what? |

| I don't read the novels, but I liked the idea of the anime covering the whole series and getting to see the entire story. That could still happen, but it probably gets less likely with each new book published. |
