This changed my opinion of the series, after what i thought was a very weak start. Although Shinji is one of the most annoying characters I've ever encountered, the fighting and general atmosphere were really good, so i'll definitely continue with it.  |

lol, wtf Shinji is nowhere nearly as annoying as he's supposed to be - yet. So was that Shinji controlling the giant robot when it started owning or was it acting independently? The chick with blue hair is hot :D  |

Awesome episode, and Shinji isn't as annoying as people make him out to be. If anything, he actually has a believable character, I don't want a shounen "I can bz duh hero 2!!!" |

Haha. My favorite part about watching this is how I don't find Shinji to be near as annoying as I'm apparently supposed to. Perhaps with time, yes, but all of the people pulling the "WIHDGJKSDG HE'S SO ANNOYING" shit one, two episodes in seem like they are just trying emulate what they've seen people who have completed the series say. I'm js.  |

that is a rather... sick fight. Did Eva freaking bleed? He stab angel as if he's trying to murder it... and in the end, he have an eye... Eva 01 is not an ordinary robot is it.... Again, Eva bleed.... and scream... How is Shinji annoying? So far, he reacted quite reasonably, I mean, he's a 14 year old boy who got force into a battlefield. This episode was quite awsome. I loved the idea of showing the rest of the fight at the end of the episode as a flashback. First I was a bit confused about what happened, but it was actually reasonable. The animation was also great~ Loving this series so far~  |

What the fuck? Are you telling me that robot is alive? You telling me that it can act on its own? If so then how come it needs Shinji to operate? It is obviously stronger and more operational if Shinji is not controlling it since all Shinji does is complain, lol. Seriously though, that was a pretty good concept. Evangelion also has a personality, nice. Episode was a little slow but I guess we need those kinds of episodes to help settling the mood. Now we know that Evangelion is a living form. We also know that Misato is a one hot mama. |

Wow, now this was something. Is Eca living creature? It sure looked like it. And Shinji is NOT annoying - I know characters who are annoying as hell, but that's not his case. He is just teen who was forced into piloting something like Eva. I bet that most of people would act like him. |
