Shocking development, though it was not so shocking with all the great build up to that final panel. Now we all have to suffer and wait for Mari's response (>_<)

Ahem. It was anything but shocking. It was about time this happened. It should have happened at the karaoke club(chp 21). We could've skipped these last 5 chapters.



Oh trust me, Morinaga will find a way to make us wait longer. She'll either say Akko didn't means it, or she's playing with her feelings.

The next chapter will have a kiss scene, and a cliffhanger end, then comes the next volume, with more confusion guaranteed. But I think they'll have a proper relationship at the end of the next volume. And after that maybe we'll get a bed scene 2 volumes after the current one.



Well, it was a good, long chapter after all. The face Sugi made, when she realized what was happening was priceless. I really wonder what the others will say if they find out that Akko's in love with Mari.

Damn you Morinaga. Just put them together already >.<

I don't get it though. Does Sugi approve of Akko's love for Mari or does she think it's weird?

Just give me a reason why Mari should say no.
Way to go for Akko and hope she get a nice answer from Mari, yeah Mari was shocking and don't know what she hear or Akko was joking but she could see how seriously she was this time. :P

You think this is going to make it past Vol. 4?? At best, expect one more volume. At best.



Sugi figured out from a long, long time ago that Mari had a thing for Akko. She didn't know that Akko would reciprocate those feelings, that's why her advice before was to tell Akko to drop it and just turn down Mari (this was back in like Vol. 2 or something, I think).

She does not seem homophobic, just pragmatic. She thinks that if Akko values the friendship more, she should just make it clear that she's not interesting. But! She now learns that Akko is indeed interested, and so offers more practical advice in the way she knows how to give advice:

If you want to be someone's lover, can you imagine doing it with them?

I suppose she was expecting Akko to say, no, she couldn't imagine doing it with a girl, but surprise, surprise. And.... Sugi takes it as it is. I'm sure her biggest concern is not that her friends who are girls are in love with one another, but that her friends are hurting because their love has been unfulfilled.

Don't want to be happy just yet... I feel more misunderstandings coming up =,=|||... I'm expecting the worst-case scenario on the next chapter... Morinaga is really good at it XD

Something/Someone will get in the way for the next 2 chapters, that's a given. But after that, maybe we'll have a nice relationship going on for the next volume :p I'm with tehnominator on this, I don't think it'll drag on for long after that.

Well finally, i found the lead up to the last chapter to pretty boring. Excited to see the next chapter. Don't see this lasting to much longer, hopefully Morinaga can give us something really good after this series is finished.

Okay... It should be practically imposible for either of them to blow this one up, but since Morinaga is very creative at this, I guess Mari will run away without saying anything or something like that. Hopefully that will not happen ^_^

About Sugi, I suppose you just have to make that face when your ultimate argument to prevent Akko from loving Mari ends up reinforcing her feelings XD Still she ended up very comprehensive.

The only way they can avoid dealing with the situation is if:

1. Narumi-sensei shows up and tells all the girls to get back on to the boat.
2. Tamamin/Sugi/the annoying chick with the boyfriend x her sidekick interrupts them
3. Mari somehow, SOMEHOW manages to misconstrue the situation
4. Mari says she's not ready to deal with Akko's directness

Although, if Morinaga can find something more creative than that, I will get down on my knees and kiss her troll feet.

In a lot of ways, I want Mari and Akko to have a proper, mature conversation without misunderstanding one another or keeping things to themselves. But if that happens, the story effectually ends. And I'd rather another volume of them not together than one chapter of them together and then The End.

I want a chapter of them FINALLY getting together.. then another chapter.. then another.. and another... hahahah.. frustrating but good manga~<3

Kinda saw somewhere that it's going to be only 3 more chaps (((
