| I think the anime ended between chapters 64 - 67 in the manga. Not sure, though. But I suggest that you should read it from the start because the anime skipped many chapters and fit it all in 12 episodes. :/ |

| Dude just start from chapter 1, there's a huge difference. I used to say that it's not worth it going over the same things again, but I realised that the manga is on a whole different level. You won't regret it for sure. |
| Chapter 1. Or at least start at chapter 51-52, that is when Aogiri tree comes into play with Kaneki. If you wanna see how badass Kaneki really is, not anime bullshit, I recommend you to start from 51-52. If you do that, you will not regret it, that much I can promise you. |

| Looks like i'll be the first to say you don't really need to start from scratch. The Anime does skip alot, but honestly, i don't even remember much of the skipped parts, and the ones i do remember aren't really relevant. What you'll read by starting from Ch.1 is alot more info/backstory for characters (mainly CCG), some insignificant scenes that were removed in the Anime, and overall just these interesting, but not vital to the plot little "gems". By saying that Kaneki was much less of a pansy and much more analytical prior to his "snap", i've already given out 50% of what you missed. It comes down to how into the series you are. You can start from the beginning to get the full enjoyment, but starting from chapter 66 (exactly where Episode 12 ended) will not make anything harder to comprehend. All of this is completely thrashed by the fact that the end just destroys everything that was built up... |

| start from the beginning. they skipped so much stuff, it is worth it. already in his fight against amon in hinami arc and the scrapper in gourmet arc were less pathetic like in the anime... he actually dodged and fought back, didnt tank all those hits lol >_> |

| Read from chapter one. At the moment reading champter68 (around where anime ended) and no regrets . story in manga is so much more complete characters feel diffrent more appealing. especialy kaneki he doesnt sound like such a cry baby as in anime. thank you all ^_^ P.S sorry for bad english ^_^ |
