It's true that Hinata never had a Sasuke obsession. What about Naruto obsession? Does Hinata know Naruto better than Sakura know Sasuke? Comparing obsession. I'm not hung up on the worst character. In fact, I think all of the characters in Naruto are horrible. They're one dimensional, uninteresting, lame and they hardly develop. I was asking why people like Hinata so much. Hinata is the typical shy girl, her exact personality is seen in so many animes (and better ones...). Wont ever people get bored of it? Because Hinata isn't annoying like Sakura |

all the best characters in this manga had died... Asuma, Jiraiya and Itachi... well from young ones, Shikamaru and Neji are the best I guess... after Jiraiya's death Naruto matured a little bit, although he is still stupid, I think he is how he is supposed to be... about Hinata, well maybe she is not an interesting character but I think she doesn't have a Naruto obsession, I think she is a person who knows about herself and feelings... she is shy but she is courageous and strong mentally, not a crybaby... |

That confession seemed rushed and well just not right I'm glad Naruto called her out on it. That's pretty much all that happened in the chapter.....oh wait the shinobi alliance did too almost forgot that.  |

Actually she seems to like Naruto for his "never give up despite all odds" personality & was the FIRST charachter in the series to acknowledge that as an important trait of his (Followed by Kakashi & others one by one). Also she used that as her inspiration in the fight against Neji. Sakura on the other hand had the same old "crush on the coolest guy in class". I mean she is no more qualified than Ino. She just happened to be the one to end up on the same team as Naruro & Sasuke. Almost all her development after that was because of the influence of those two. In the first series most of the work done by the team was done by Naruto & Sasuke (The duo actually looked good as partners/rivals). Each causing the other to grow & actually understanding one another while Sakura was being useless for the most part & taking action only when Sasuke & Naruto were exhausted or not around. Then in the second series, seeing as Sasuke had left the team, her abilities & role was increaded a bit. That is probably the only reason she has the importance she holds now. Bottomline, Sakura is the annoying dream girl of the protoganist who has a crush on his cool rival & eventually develops feelings for the protoganist while Hinata is the shy girl whom the protoganist doesn't take much notice of, but she was the only one to recognize his talents back when he was just a loser. Which reminds me: DOES NARUTO REMEMBER HINATA'S CONFESSION???? |

So reading this chapter made me want to go beat the retarded fanbrats over on Gaia. You know the ones that have being running round bawwing about the confession, bashing Sakura at every chance, and saying that Naruto's comments at the end meant he's ~OMG SO IN LUV W/ HINATA-CHAN~~. All the while missing the whole fucking point of Sakura making that false confession. *HEADDESK*     |

Really liked this chapter to be honest. I liked Sakura's scene. I personally believe she loves Naruto but she confessed for the wrong reasons. I understand that she was feeling guilty that basically everything that has happened to Naruto was her fault, but you don't really say that. Glad to see Naruto was able to see through her true attempts.      |

I understood why Sakura did this. Yeah... the method is dirty but the aim... Sasuke's mess becomes more and more complex and dangerous and she understands that she is one of big reasons of Naruto's Sasuke-obsession(a bit of self-centered thought though). So she tried to waver his priorities a bit. And it's not like they are still kids they were in the beginning...(no sexy action yet though =) ) The whole mess just got a lot more complicated. But she got Naruto for a second there =) Lies, truth or half-truth... |

the funniest thing about this whole sakura confession thing, is that naruto knew sakura was lying but he believed hinata no questions asked, no inner conflict, no nothin. Naruto knows where sakura's heart is. And he's never tried to force his feelings on her. I don't hate sakura, but I don't like how she tried to make naruto sound like a replacement because she couldn't get what she really wanted.(sasuke)......... hence the word bitch And it seems that everyone has forgotton that when pain almost killed Hinata, Naruto's anger surpassed anything before and he almost went 9 FULL tails. even when the whole village was destroyed, even when sakura's life's been in life danger, Naruto has NEVER went kyuubi because of her Modified by rreggiebryant1, 10-30-09, 4:07 AM  |
