 A new TV anime series based on the Tantei Opera Milky Holmes franchise has been announced by Bushiroad and KLab's Bushimo, titled Tantei Kageki Milky Holmes TD. The anime is set to debut in January 2015. The theme song for the anime "OverDrive!" was also mentioned as a part of the announcement. The OP will be sung by Milky Holmes and the ED will be sung by Emi Nitta, who will also voice a new character in the anime named Marine Amagi. | Milky Holmes, especially season 2 (THE AGE OF FARMING), was one of my all-time favorite series. Then 'season 3' happened and I lost all hope of a continuation, let alone seeing the series redeem itself. Will watch, but I have my reservations. |

| Especially the second season was a lot of fun, I really hope it doesn't come to be like that trash of third season, at the very least. I wouldn't mind if it comes to be a little more "serious" like the games and the Opera OVA, but whenever the case I expect to be something really worth of it this time. |

There have been many cases of stolen songs happening among the idols in Yokohama District recently. Even super idol Marine Amagi's hit song "Kiseki no Uta" was taken away. At the request of Marine, the Milky Holmes team starts investigating the case. I don't have much hope for this new season... unless that investigation only lasts for a few minutes of the first episode before they lose all their Toys again. |

| Then again, in the games the Milky Holmes always have their Toys and the same and good sense of humor was still there, if anything is "strange" that was the anime adaptations in the first place. The third season was boring as hell but the real problem was the new characters, not only the Feathers, but the new Phantom Thieves were nothing compared to the previous ones, it has nothing to do if the Milky Holmes have their Toys back or not. |
