maybe not as far as i could see from the manga things might actualy get alot better, the next few plot developements ought to be very interesting, that is of course depending on how closely they follow the manga, but lets just see huh?

This is episode is what makes Naruto better than bleach! They dare to sacrifice some characters for the good of the story. Bleach just keeps going and going and nothing ever happens...

5/5 episode... it's really sad one, poor Jiraya. I really wanna know exactly what the hell is Pain.

the next few episodes are going to be epic as well, i think it's safe to say that Shippuuden is in its prime right now.

i saw jiraiya's death coming the moment he and tsunade started getting all emotional (too much foreshadowing on their part?), so i wasn't exactly surprised...
i thought this was way better than how other characters were killed off. like the 3rd hokage, it took ages for him to die, seriously like 3 or so episodes of a sword in the gut before he was finished =/

this was a pretty sad episode for me, despite already knowing it was going to happen. and i disagree that this was less emotional than the manga, they did it extremely well here.

looking forward to a life of no more fillers and hopefully sasuke vs itachi.

I cried during the part Jiraiya died.. So emotional..

i saw it coming but still can't help crying TTT_TTT

So it finally happened. ;_; I can't believe I was one week delayed. This was one darn awesome episode. Jiraiya's badass, and his soliloquy at the end almost had me crying. The animation was awesome, and the music when he was dying was great. The ED added to the impact too. I'm gonna miss him. 5/5.

and near the ending of the episode the parts with Naruto & Tsunade was actually really sad. v_v
all that stuff Jiraiya was finding out about Pain interested me too.
He was a funny character though., so i'll miss him.

How Jiraiya died was definitely on of the best deaths of a character in Shippuuden.
I wonder how the others would react. Especially Tsunade. XD

I can't believe that my dear Jiraiya is dead :'( :'( :'( My favorite character in the whole anime-world together with Kakashi. I went from sage-mode to emo-mode... :(

The death of Jiraiya actually got to me a little, surprisingly. Out of the entire Shippuden portion of "Naruto", this particular fight was the best so far in my humble opinion.

nawh the itachi Sasuke Fight is next from what the previews show.

He kinda died Violently. his arm got torn off his throat was crushed, very violent for my taste.... darn. i'm gonna miss his prevyness

I actually said "finally" out loud when Jiraiya died. I never really cared for him so I felt nothing during his battle except boredom. Sure, I'll feel sad for Naruto when he finds out. That might make me tear up. But if a character like Jiraiya has to die, that was the way to take him out. It just bored me because he's not a character I like.
