Nice fight to, damn. Looking forward to next episode though [Sasuke vs itachi prob]. Poor jiraiya \ :

Poor Jiraiya, he was one of my favourite characters.

i reli liked the episode but it was way more emotional in the manga
but now j~man is gone :( so sad

i actually couldn't believe he died...
I felt like crying,i am surprised i didn't though,but it made me damn emo for the rest of the day

it was a bittersweet ending for Jiraiya. ~*single tear*~ Although I did keep having trouble seeing the very last seconds of the episode, and I was looking forward to seeing a preview for the next one. I guess I'll just wait a bit longer.

That's how you kill off a pivotal character in a show. Very different than Orochimaru's death, and one of the better done deaths off the top of my head.

Seriously one of the best Naruto episodes ever. Shippuuden has really gotten better lately. (first shippuuden arc was pretty rubbish)

Orochimaru is dead? You shouldn't be so sure of that :D

Well one of the best character of the show died in his best possible way and this is also where the series starts to go down hill from here, which is a sad thing.

I'm not sure of it, and as I was typing, I thought "Considering Kabuto is being taken over by part of Orochimaru and we don't know the effects of Sasuke absorbing him, maybe I'm being hasty," but I still think it would have been better to give him a better "death" so that future developments are more shocking.

I could not agree more. A great way for Jiraiya to go.

Naruto Shippuuden has gotten way better over the past more recent episodes as someone mentioned. It was rocky when it first started.

I wish I he could have lived some how :(. They better be able to read his code, lol.

Shippuuden pace has become much better lately.
