As expected, P4G was underestimated as hell, 12.7k first week. It seems its still a contender for one of the 10k+ sellers of 2014. MCA also still keep dropping, I wonder when it'll stabilize, because if it won't it'll end up with a 6k-6.5k average, which is still good.

On next week's releases,

-We will see what kind of effect the haikyuu event ticket drop will have, it dropped by 3.5k points from v2.
-Yowamushi pedal v10 went up by 1.0k points from v9.
-Saki v7 went up by 700 points from v6
-We can finally know how much Free S2 v1 will drop from Free S1 v1.
-Ao Haru Ride v1 and Rail wars v1 will also come out, just so we can see how badly they'll do in sales numbers(which ofcourse says nothing about how profitable the anime series was).

Wasn't expecting persona would be on the TOP for this week.
The high sales of Aldnoah.Zero OST as well as the CD single is surely amazing.

I am expecting more from Hiroyuki Sawano-sensei :D

To early to tell what its average will end up as. And Nozaki-kun average will not be affected by Personas average either, i'm not sure where you got that idea.

Previous summer seasons also have no affect on the amount of 10k sellers, 10k+ is just a arbitrary number after-all.

Its looking less and less likely for mahouka to reach 10k. So it seems spring will get 3 or 4 10k+ sellers this year.

I doubt it. v2 had an event ticket, so from v3 onwards it will actually start selling less.

Not really, aslong as it can manage a 10k+ average or close to it. This is not a sequal to the P4, if anything I would classify it as a spin-off. And spin-offs to do not always sell as much as the main series, just look at Fate/Kaleid, people weren't judging that series for not reaching F/Z or F/SN sales levels.

Actually, the manga (song clips, whatever) + Shaft (I know the anime adaptaion was kinda meh. But they adapted it into an anime, they have something to do with it even a tiny bit), are responsible for those numbers.

Your point? It still has 8 volumes to go. Its important to know v2 had an event ticket and how the other 8 volumes are performing on amazong, and out of the 3 borderline 10k sellers, it has, in my opinion, the worst chance at getting a 10k+ average. But we will get a better picture once v3 and v4 come out, but untill then i'm putting my money on JoJo and Gochiusa taking the 3th and 4th spot for best selling spring shows.

So what makes you think it wouldn't have sold this well if any other studio had adapted this? People don't tend to buy something just because a studio animated it. Not to mention how many people in japan hated how they adapted it. If anything, its the original author of the story that deserves credit.

Like I said "even a tiny bit" and the manga is written by the author, so..
