It's a shame because it's one of the better original series Aniplex has helped produced in a long long time (probably since Shin Sekai Yori) and probably for a long time to come. No hype, no overt pandering and big promises, just a simple 11 episode show that adapts an old story and does so in a surprisingly interesting and memorable way.
