For the most part that is true, but certain copyrighted books cannot be found online, and can only be accessed via a library.

It's a better place to study than my house
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Considering I have other housemates, as well, it can get annoying.
It's also less far than your house when you just finished your classes if you want to quickly refresh what you just learned.
The library here also offers free printing provided I bring my own papers. I'm fairly positive other than the gym, the library is gonna be my go-to place on campus.

Back in high school, the library was my shit and the alternative to the horrible cafeteria.
During college, it was the best and closest place on campus to get group work done.
Nowadays, nah. Maybe if the parking was closer.

Don't forget that new book smell and the feel of the pages.

I find that hard to believe. I think we've all used paper media at some point in our lives.

Outside of going there for anime club meetings, I go to the library at my college to study since I commute to school and it is the best place to study if I'm on campus.

At least once a week. I much prefer reading books and manga in printed form than online/digital formats.

There were several manga titles I disregarded for years becomes the scans online just didn't appeal to me. It was only after flicking through these titles at various libraries that I became interested. The printed form makes a huge difference to me. With novels, I just like having the physical book in my hands, free of charge for several weeks.

At least once a week. I'm going to be a librarian, it would be ugly if I never went.
If it has solution, don't bother; and if it hasn't, why bothering?

Stopped goin' since the end of my student days. Now I either read it online or just simply buy it.

There is such thing as shit taste. Only idiots think that every "work of art" should have the same value.

I haven't bothered with libraries since I got broadband.

For just about anything that's interesting and popular enough to find in any city library - someone has taken the initiative to pirate it into a PDF that you can download and read on whatever device you please, whenever and wherever you please. It's just more convenient that way.

^ Pretty much this, along with when books are due or when I finish them. Though a rough estimate would be every week to four weeks, depends on how many books I get and how frequently I read them.

I go at least once a week, because I like to sift through the classic section as well as the huge biography area that's in the back of my local library. They don't have any decent science fiction, nor do they carry anything from authors of the past 20 years that's of any quality except for J.K Rowling, one Neil Stephenson Book, and a medieval fantasy novel that I can't remember the name of, so I have to use barnes and noble or my amazon tablet to read newer stuff.

I go every now and then.
Dang, now that I think about it... before I graduated, I used to go to my college's library between breaks just to read books at the library. I'm currently back at the same college after like four years or so. However, during those same breaks in between classes, all I do is sleep in the library now. Where did my energy go?;; I do pick up some books from the free cart in the Friends of the Library section though.

Anyway, I go to the library often enough. In the past and now.

there was a time before covid when i went to the library frequently. but the last time i attempted going to the library was a few months ago around spring and i was put off by how it had changed. i couldn't book a room, there were glass walls everywhere, all the employees wore full garb, gloves, mask, etc. so i guess i'll be visiting the library more around next year instead.

I never used to go to the library, usually just relying on the limited amount of books, fiction or not, I had at home. Then I moved abroad for Uni and I got depressed and forgot to read. Then I got into writing again and realised I have read too few works in English and I started going every now and then, very sporadically. Then I entered a contest, realised my writing sucks, so I started binge-reading to get some inspiration and know-how. I go every time I finish the stash I take out the time prior, so sometimes every 3 days, sometimes every week (when I have some downtime from work). I'll go today hoping to find some Urban Fantasy/School life books recommended by a friend, wish me luck. :)
