THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Evil Tea Party Time~ Roy looked bored for most of it xD I love hearing Mamoru, even if it's only for a few seconds. I am glad Ling took the time to write to Lan Fan. Roy going outside to see Armstrong instead of Riza was terribly amusing. ISHVAL NEXT WEEK YES OMG |

I expected TWO shower scenes in this episode! Why... even in the preview... Yay for Ishval flashback in the next ep. Too bad it will be only one episode. Or maybe that's good... I don't really like this flashbacks. I want to see Armstrong chick kickin' ass ASAP. 8D /I hided spoiler, though I don't understand that whole bitching about it. :| anime creators gave you worse spoilers, for example And I don't know why souldn't it be in the preview. Arakawa gaved it in the end of chapter and volume, it was like preview... xD Modified by Qashqai, 10-26-09, 7:16 AM |

A single episode for all of the Ishval flashbacks? That was 4 chapters in a row in the manga ... granted, the Scar stuff was moved to earlier in the anime ... actually, I could see it working. Possibly. I just hope they don't cut too much out. Looking forward to episode 29 - come on, Eclipse! :D |

ChainsawAsh said: Yeah, it was an entire volume. But they did already show some of the flashbacks, but I did like how it was organized in the manga a lot.A single episode for all of the Ishval flashbacks? That was 4 chapters in a row in the manga ... granted, the Scar stuff was moved to earlier in the anime ... actually, I could see it working. Possibly. I just hope they don't cut too much out. |

I liked it. Sorta cool hearing Mamoru Miyano again even if it was just one line. (--,) And the shower scene with Ed was just LMAO. Though I think the ending was somewhat awkward IMO. Okay... they're stuffing in a whole volume of the manga next week... I'm worried. -_- Though the opening seems to imply that they'll be giving importance to the flashbacks... Still hoping that they'll be able to do it right though. I personally wanna see Basque Grand being baddass. I won't get my hopes up though. |

This weeks subs took quite a while! It was pure AGONY to wait for my FMA fix. Anyways, Good episode. Ling is still alive in there, somewhere. Looks like next episode will be a summary of Ishbal? I hope not. These episodes are over waaay too fast. |

Ah, Ling there you are, if only for a few seconds. Can't WAIT for next weeks episodes. I'm curious to see how much of the Ishval flashbacks are included in the next episode. There's soo much happening. |

Good episode no action but the past few episodes deserve a cooldown. Flashbacks to Ishval should be interesting next week. <-- i had to do it hehe And thanks alot people for hinting that Riza has a tattoo somewhere and it's important! Though I'm not as annoyed as when ppl spoiled me on Ling becoming Greed...NO MORE MANGA SPOILERS! (without spoiler tags =P). Modified by Taihaku, 10-25-09, 11:22 PM |

Pretty good episode, they will be finally revealing what happened in the Ishabal war in the next episode, it was already ridiculously annoying to hear every fricken' second "Oh gosh in the Ishbal war, my sins are terrible... blah blah" from the people of the military. |

Can't wait till kimblee's scene....the destruction he causes haha.....im pretty sure they kinda intergrated the past and the present in the volumes so no idea how there going to represent the upcoming episodes?...split them up into different parts?...and the scene where they show the tattoo doesn't come until later...they can't cram too much into one episode...and for the preview, it just spoils to much... |

Well, this was a good episode. Mostly transitional, but good nonetheless. I'm not sure that I like this new trend of putting important scenes after/during the end credits, though. I didn't think it worked at ALL with the Marcoh/Scar scene this time, and I felt that the Father/Gluttony scene from the end of #28 belongs at the beginning of #29 (its placement in the manga), as a cold open before the OP. |
