What movie was it and why?

For me it was the Fourth Kind. I had to open my eyes every 2 minutes thinking I was going to be abducted.

Nothing really. Movies don't really get to me anymore. Well, I watched Lake Mungo a couple of weeks ago and a certain scene made me a little unsettled for a while that night.

believed it or not, I slept with my bedcover over my ears for YEARS, because I was scared that my ears turn into donkey ears.

I still sleep that way today, it turned into a habit. Its not fear-motivated anymore.
Pinocchio changed my life.

Oh god, yes! Same here. The ears just need to be covered... I'd feel uncomfortable with my ears being exposed to the outer world.

I hate barn owls because of this movie.

Also pretty much every scary movie I saw up until I was 16, heh-- when I finally realized I didn't like watching scary movies and stopped. I haven't really seen to many since.

I always have difficulty falling asleep.
"The Giver" pissed me off so much that I couldn't sleep. I don't remember the last horror movie that kept me awake, I've been avoiding the genre all together because it usually just pisses me off.

American Psycho when I was 7, but then I read the book 2 years later, and it was much worse. However, I recently watched it again and was able to appreciate both the satire / comedy much more.

Not because it was scary but Goodfellas kept me awake because I watched it late at night and I liked it so much I kinda got an energy boost lol.

I don't watch scary movies in general though because I get scared easily. I'll only watch a scary movie with friends because it's more fun to scream together than alone

=3= The Ring.

Watching this when I was around 8 years old kind of scared the fuck out of me. I started sleeping with the light on for a few years, and then left my curtains open so the moonlight would let me see what's in my room.

generally horror films do it for me, funnily enough it's usually shitty mainstream ones that have a max of one scary scene (which acts as nightmare fuel later).

there was this movie called "Le Vieux Fusil" ( The Old Gun ) . I was young and I was looking at some part behind the door in secret...
I saw this flashback scene when some Nazi soldiers execute some adults and childrens in a castle yard , and there is a Women ( the wife of the main characters if I remember correctly ) that try to escape...but a soldier with a flamethrower burn her and you see her sreaming as her skin turn to black...
Then , later , the hero came for revenge and shoot the Nazis with is old gun , and he do the same flamethrower thing with them , using a Two-way mirror ( I remember the mirror melting and all the soldier running in flame in the room )

It was really traumatic for the children I was .
the sound of the Flamethrower...my god that sound...I'll never forget it .

Yeah when I was 13 with The Exorcist. I don't really get scared while watching horror movies, and this one was no exception, but the girl's face was really creepy and frightening.

That's why when I watched the 'scary maze' video it scared the hell out of me XD
