| basically ten more episodes of the old Mushi-shi. With an equally awesome new opening. Mushishi has little to no overarching plot, each episode is its own story and there isn't a bad one in the bunch. Something episodic shows can really struggle with. Not to mention that they are all incredibly unique when you consider what similarities they are forced to have. Characters were fresh, and Ginko, he's still cool. 8/10. Animation was fine, but the art is basically scenery porn, really cool. 9/10. Voice work in Mushishi is crystal clear, good stuff. the music is my favorite part, and they made more of the ost in a really original way. 10/10 Overall 8/10. Definitely induction worthy as all ten episodes stand alone really well. A yes vote from me. |
