| Well, the title says it all: It's not the first time that i wrote a long message or a long post, and then for some reason it got delete. Either i wasn't able to send it cause of the poor connection, or my message inbox got full in the meantime and many other things. So, how about implementing an Autosave function, that for example, will save your text every 100 characters you type? |

| Have you tried going back in history? Also, I'd suggest Lazarus: Form Recovery add-on |

| Going back helps only sometimes. For example: If you're writing a message and your inbox gets full in the meantime (cause someone else wrote you), you will get the error that you can't write a message cause you've got already 75 Messages in your inbox. At this points, even if you go back you will either see the error again or you'll get to your Inox. Also, i've never really tought about an addon. Thanks for the suggestion. I guess i'll check it out. |

| There are plenty of 3rd party programs out there that automatically save your text you've written in the last (some even the last two or more) section(s). It would be wise to look around for such, but if you were to come out and not use any in the end, it's a general recommendation to copy the entire text before submitting a post every time, especially if the message is relatively long. |
| Yeah, i usually copy the text before i send it, but from time to time i just forget to do it. Well, i guess i'll try and use the script that Serhiyko suggested. |
