| I recently did a mental check on the shows I've watched, and I've found what I've enjoyed the most isn't necessarily what I'm recalling first. Granted there are the unforgettably bad shows, but this is also bleeding into good or even great shows. Like, I enjoyed the "great" show more than the "good" show, but it's the "good" one I recall first. Or I like two "good" shows about the same, but on recall only one of them really sticks out. I know where my like for each show stands (that can change, but that's a subject for another day), but I don't know where my memory of them is going to jump. So yeah. What makes an anime memorable to you instead of just good or bad? |

| It would have to be the characters, thats probably one of the more important things in anime, maybe even the most important thing. If you have good characters with perfect voice actors that actually fit the character they're playing then it will be memorable. A perfect example is Baccano. Every character is memorable in their own way. |

| Having good story line with good ending plus music can make memorable anime. With good storyline and either happy or sad ending, it'll make a memorable anime. Well, of course characters are important too, since it's part of the anime. As long as you understand the whole situation in anime, you should be able to enjoy that anime. |

I don't mean whether it's good or bad. Each individual can actually feel whether it's special or not. It's something that not all of us can feel in a same way. Like for example, I like "Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo", that anime is my memorable anime. Another example, Kimi ni Todoke, the best part I like is when:- But some ppl might not like it, feel the speech and soundtrack is boring, nothing special at all. It makes them feel nothing when they watch. Nothing makes them remember any good part from the anime. Anyway, it's just my view xD |

| There isn't really much to this topic, all of us are basically going to answer the same thing. Characters, Story, Music, etc. They're all the aspects of the anime so of course if they're good, then the anime is good. Of course there is also the emotional reaction towards the anime, but again that is caused if the story has good characters that you are attached to. |

| An outstanding plot, usually one that manages to surprise me or keep me glued to my seat. The emotions it invokes, whether sorrow or laughter. Outstanding characters that have great appearances or lines. Music to a lesser extent. |

| Mainly the characters. My favorite series are usually those that made me feel a certain way (shocked, very sad etc.) What can also make it memorable are some quotes and the OST. |
