Sorry for the bad grammar in advance . Is there any other anime that been airing for so long as One piece and have no end in site . I loved One piece for a very long time but know i m starting to get bored at watching and reading it . Reason is so simple there are to many characters in this story to much fillers and way to little answers after all this years. The last years they have been stuck on every freaking island they pass . So because were not gone know anytime soon what One piece really is i wonder what the rest of you is thinking .
Thanks for your time have a nice day or evening !!
back when i was watching One Piece on local tv i guess that One Piece is the entire adventure that they will have and in the end someone will say through out all those hardship we made it all in One Piece (we survived the adventures)

if that's actually happen, i believe one of hardcore One Piece fans will definitely find a way to assasinate Oda.
Oda will probably stop writing One Piece before the story ends at this rate. And I highly doubt that whatever the One Piece treasure is that it'll be satisfying.

Ders no lolis or imoutos or dat pantsu...No game no life foreva. One piece sucks fur dos with big bwest fetwishes.
Definitely not friendship or the adventure but not doubt those things will be sort of fulfilled by the time they get there. I'm thinking it's related to the secret of the world, of the void century, possibly even that one popular One Piece theory that's been around for a while, and then I think it will be related to space.
I also found this interesting theory.
In my opinion One Piece treasure is the Staff of the Monkey king of the Ancient World. Gold Roger is not the one who will inherit the One Piece despite of being a carrier of "D". D means the descendant but the main family branch are the MONKEY family specially LUFFY.
In Journey to the West, the monkey king Sun Wukong obtained his Ruyi Jingu Bang, a magically-expanding, gold-ringed iron rod weapon, from Ao Guang. This weapon was originally a stick for measuring the depth of sea water used by Yu the Great in his flood control and treatment efforts; hence its ability to vary its shape and length. After Yu left, it remained in the sea and became the "Pillar holding down the sea", an unmovable treasure of the undersea palace of Ao Guang.
One of Wukong's senior advisors had told him to seek out the dragon-king in order to get a powerful weapon befitting his skill. In the dragon palace, he tried out several kinds of heavenly weapons, many of which bent or completely broke as he wielded them. Ao Guang's wife then suggested the Ruyi Jingu Bang, thinking he would not be able to lift it. When Wukong neared the pillar, it began to glow, signifying that the monkey king was its true owner. It obediently listened to his commands and shrank to a manageable size so Wukong could wield it effectively. This awed the dragons and threw the sea into confusion, the monkey king having removed the only thing controlling the ebb and flow of the ocean's tides. In addition to the magic staff, Wukong also forced Ao Guang to give him other magical gifts; including golden chain mail, a phoenix-feather cap, and cloud-walking boots. Is anyone think is is related to ONE PIECE?Now I understand the theory of ODA SENSEI manga. The One piece is the MONKEY KING STAFF that can control the flow of the Sea. LUFFY is a Direct Descendant of the monkey king not GOLD ROGER; he is just like a member of a Branch FAMILY of D. Pls comment,,

isn't that Sungokong tale? a journey to the western with some modification right?
Personally I doubt that theory, if One Piece is that staff, why did Roger didn't use it?. but still whatever it is as long as it is not that Friendship crap I'm okay with it. as long as it is something 'real' and worth my whole time I spend in watching One Piece.. :D

Possibly, idk exactly as I'm not too familiar with that story but the ability to control the oceans would mean the ultimate freedom.
I don't think we have enough info to know why Roger did and didn't do anything. There's all sorts of reasons we may not know.
Here's something, Luffy, Sabo, and Ace all used a poll when they were younger. And Oda was inspired by Dragonball so it's not surprising if he then gets inspired from the same place Dragonball was inspired from.
