I haven't been on PSN in a long time but I'm getting tired of these gutless wanna be hackers messing with people's lives. Think about all the plans the people on the plane had. I hope Sony sues these kids for all the money they're losing while PSN is down.

I say say we have these kids locked up in stocks in America and have them pelted with apples by the citizens.

Don't give them too much credit, it was just a DDoS attack, and didn't even last for a day. They're just script kiddies.

I could imagine. Now it's time to pay the piper.

I don't even know what a DDoS is but someone told me that they're easy to track

DDoS is basically just using multiple computers to slow down a server by flooding it with traffic, as opposed to a hack where someone gains access to the server and can steal/alter the data. Hacking requires technical knowledge, while DDoS is as easy as just running a program to continuously ping the server.

Since they're doing the rounds targeting all the major places it's obviously a protection racket. Trust me, I know this stuff. I've seen like every episode of Boardwalk Empire and almost stayed awake through all of it.

I know, right? The least they could have done is give everyone a digital copy of the most recent Infamous game like they did last time. ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

The bomb threat could be used to catch them with the allegation of terrorism act. It would be a good lesson.

I see. So why were these DDoS uers called hackers?
