I needs an action anime

What I'm looking for isn't necessarily an action anime although I do love them but I also like amines like death note (there was no action but everything was so god damn genius). If it has action the mc can't just be overpowered he needs to try to win fights by planning it out and whatnot but I don't mind if gradually works his way towards being extremely strong like how In tokyo ravens someone got extremely strong cuz of reasons I won't mention since I forgot how to spoiler tag and it would spoil the whole first season or 9 books. I also would like there to he a romance subplot but not needed as long as there's a guy and a grill and they get along fine. No MECHA. Fantasy is preferred

Btw I'm not gonna watch cowboy bebop cuz my friend said the endings really sad

Accel World - if you like SAO, it takes place after SAO in the same universe, don't say it looks dumb cuz of MC's looks though, he is a good character

Yu Yu Hakusho - older but good

Already seen noragami and ao no exorcist but I think I'll try out psycho pass and accel world thanks for the recs :)

Check out the JoJo series, Its got fights (with strategy), romance, and lots of emotions. (Also its referenced in almost everything)
