High level of naivity

I've watched till episode 10, am I the only one seeing this anime as hopelessly naive?
It's like its script is made by someone wanting to do a medieval script nowadays, yet would have failed even if doing it correctly.

At the same time we can see modern apparatus in the clinics yet there are no - guns, cameras, internet, radio or television. Talk about UV lamps anyone? Funny thing is we don't even get the classic stuff like crosses(except for some small wooden ones which are never brought outside), garlic, holy water etc..

Perhaps burning the corpses(cremating them) has never occurred to anyone either.

Having security guards/guardian dogs in/near the clinic must be impossible as well. I guess it's much more epic to have 3 people(a doctor, a little boy and a monk) fight a new species of undead/vampires.

Chinese cartoons? It's obviously a japanese anime and never the less not the first naive/stupid one I've seen. Just as my post count says, I rarely get so frustrated as to post in the forums.
