| I can't disagree, my main complain when I watched the third OVA was that I really couldn't stand Eren when he was this immature xD that's also why I couldn't stand him when I first started watching Shingeki lol but still his way to be when he was in the trainees squad was plain annoying I may adore Eren now but damn he was insupportable at that time.... |

| I would disagree that Eren is arrogant... I more so think he is just hot-headed and has a problem with taking everyone's burdens upon himself. So often in the series he believes he could have done something to help those who died if only he had acted upon it. I think that can be mistaken for arrogance--kind of like "he has the gall to believe he could have saved them all?!" It's more along the lines of a severe case of survivor's guilt, which is a real-life condition soldiers experience. Eren matures from watching his comrades and through Levi's instruction, and I think it's a great thing to witness his experience grow. |
