THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- the staff is a perv, and brain has split personality that wants to destroy everything Modified by kage-bunshin, 10-19-09, 11:13 PM the only way to stop a gamer from playing is either: beat them, or wait until they get bored (though 2% percent suffer seizures |

Very weak chapter. There was no foreshadowing of brains alter-ego, zero, and it just seems like a ploy to stretch an already disappointing story arc. |

Indeed. And Zero's magic seams to just be pure destruction, no strategy to it, hope that indicates an all out brawl like the one with Gerard. |

There was a lot of foreshadowing for that beginning with how each of Oracion six died and ending with what Blain himself said after getting defeated. |

Well at least we got to see the real power of the Master of Oracion. I mean, when Brain got owned, I was like wtf?! And I would seriously kill someone if Ezra comes to the rescue. I mean she was beaten around badly by Midnight. I'm leaning on Gerard's revival of his powers. That would be sweet. |

1 word: Joke. And here Midnight was crapping all over that he's stronger than his father, bullshit. Maybe after Zero falls nirvana unleashes it's 2nd form or smth and this goes on for another 20 chapters just so Hiro Mashima dun nid to take a break to gather materials for the next arc and at the same time earns money. |

Another super strong guy has appeared (seems to be a new one each week now) but what was this 'special project' Mashima was rambling about? |

Am I the only one who is extremely annoyed with Natsu being so damn weak? This guy never gets the chance to fight; and when he does, he either gets owned or he is afflicted by some lame 'can't-fight-because-of-vehicle' joke. It was funny the first time. But that every battle of his is canceled mainly because of this, and then when he does gets the chance he gets owned, is really annoying. I'm actually getting really disappointed with this series. There's too much focus on other characters like Erza and co. and so little for the real two main characters. Sure it's fun to see Erza 'rock' some persons world; but it isn't half as interesting as when Natsu does it. And if I'm correct, he's still the lead character. Anyway, this chapter was bad. They should stop dragging things on and on. But I'm glad the guild master wasn't a weak little shit in the end and actually has some powers. Now if only a proper fight would pop-up next. And I so hope it's not going to be a 3vs1 battle or anything; that would be lame. |

It's rather the fact that Mashima always has him getting beaten up ridiculously in the beginning, and then he summons this awesome power and beats the bad guy (as with every shounen really). Natsu has always won his battles with flair. I don't see how you can perceive him as weak. Also, I think Mashima wanted to show just how powerful Zero is too. As for your other complaints, I must say I agree. While I don't mind the focus on Erza, I do feel that Mashima has lost control over his story a bit and the past few arcs seem evident of that. Let's hope there's some master plan though that will be revealed in the future. |

This chapter wasn't really interesting. Just another lame strong guy who wants to destroy everything :s I also wonder when Wendy will go to action, she hasn't done anything yet and wasn't she really good in support magic or something? Modified by Miertje86, 10-20-09, 8:24 AM |

Let's hope there's some master plan though that will be revealed in the future. I know that much. What I was trying to say is that it's ridiculous how often he gets easily repelled even though he is strong. And that I haven't seen him having a good match with anyone in a long time. Either he has to fly or has some other sort of weakness to overcome; never does he fight on full strength unfortunately. I agree with that last statement of yours. I rather he doesn't work on the next chapter for a week and in stead focuses on getting the story right/fixed. That is, if there is indeed no master plan to speak of. :P |

Brain's other personality came out of nowhere lol. I mean I couldn't really believe he was the leader and was that weak, but still. |
