| I saw one of those bitch threads where someone was whining about why anime feature kids/teenagers/young adults as main characters.Obviously the answer to that thread is because the target audience is little kids to young adults. So I thought what if the target audience of a harem anime was men in their late 30s to 40s? What would it be like? Would the older sexy woman be 50 something years old? Would the obligatory loli character be high school senior or college freshman? Would many of the female lead characters be single mothers with young or grown up kids and those kids slowly approve the male lead potentially being their future stepfather? Would beach episodes look more like a multiple family get together instead just a bunch of friends hanging out? Would a female lead character and her adult daughter chase after the male lead? Would the male lead and his one or two male friends hang out at strip joints and bars? Would the male lead be a divorced single dad and maybe a ex-wife is trying to get back with him? What is the male lead has adult sons and those sons are trying to chase after some of the female leads? or what if the male lead has adult daughters and his daughter's friends is trying to hook up with the male lead? |
