| Nice episode, it was already foreshadowed that something is gonna happen to Reccoa and dying would have been just too easy. So instead she got captured and now I wonder if she's gonna change sides or what will happen~ |

You can't mourn for every single dead man you don't even know, unless you're some sort of saint. You mourn when you lose people that you know, and who are more or less irreplaceable for you. And i'm quite sure there was someone who mourned for these so called 'redshirts', but do we watchers need to know that? I don't think it's even worth attention. |

When the crew we DO know is the leader group of an entire ship. It goes without saying that they would know the people on board the ship. Especially the pilots who would all be in the same briefing room and have the same training. In earlier and later Gundam series the Redshirt (I suppose in Gundamverse It's actually Greenshirt. Damn Char.) bit characters would at least have names. Even if they didn't have a face. Sure we the viewers don't need to see it happen, but when the pilots are treated like literally fodder and made no mention of....irks me. Seems like poor writing. |

| Another amazing, but wtf episode. First off i'm surprise Henken was able to score a date from Emma!! I wonder what Kamille thinks of this XD It was a nice backstory on how Reccoa joined AEUG. She's seem similar to Beltorchika. Tbh I don't know what Char needs to do in order to satisfy Reccoa. Seriously could she at least give some hints or anything??? This is the problem with women, always playing hard to get. And wtf is Reccoa doing staring in the space and letting the enemy attacked you in all sides?? And is she laughing as she stares death?? Is she crazy or intoxicated or anything O___O Yazan could have finished her off, but didn't. It's funny how we get to see Yazan in normal uniform in the vision scenes yet Reccoa is naked in these kind of scenes XD Seems everyone thinks she's died in battle. I wouldn't be surprise if her mental breakdown is caused by that clown Paptimus since she started acting weird ever since she approached him. Also they could manipulate her into fighting her former comrades. Damn titan will probably do something like that. And wtf is Char letting Kamille hit you this many times?? I know you beat the shit out of him in the last episode, but could you have at least evade some of his attacks?? It's gonna be interesting from here on out. Can't wait for the next episodes!!! |
| Insecure about your own strength, you're driven (unconsciouly or not) to seek the company and protection of someone you admire or/and deem stronger, someone oozing with confidence, someone like Quattro-tai. The problem is, though a certain Kamille Bidan might not like it, that Char Aznable has no moral or legal obligation to protect you nor deal with your issues. And at this point, spouting some nice fluffy gender essentialist bullshit to rationalize the fact that what you truly want is for a man to fix you doesn't cut it either. Conclusion: you suck, Reccoa. |

| So Reccoa is a lost sheep with no conviction who needed a lover or a shepherd to lead her? Classic guru victim... It's nice to get elements to start to understand what's going on with a character, but this time it made me despise it even more. (though it is interesting to see such a "personality" in an animated Bandai commercial for children, I wonder what was the average age of the viewers xD). Well, she won't bee lost anymore as soon as Guru Paptimus takes his care. This Newtype communication between Yazan and Reccoa... I wasn't even aware those two were natural born NTs. O_o I always disliked Mr. Lee but this time he was truly unbearable! Only Camille knows him well: "he likes to start fights" or something like that xD I hope they get rid of him on La Vie en Rose. (I see what 0083 did there, it was a good introduction) 3/5 As much as I understand what was done in the episode, it made it less enjoyable. July 10, 2016 @ucisbestcentury This was an hyperbole due to the permanent parade of models (to the point characters were always saying "where is the new model?"/"this is a new model!"). Plus I was growing bored thanks to the 50% screen time lost on the mandatory weekly battle . I should have wrote it between " ". I wasn't aware that Zeta Katz was one of the children targetting elements. Are you sure about the airing slot? I tried to find the broadcasting hours of the early series (up to ZZ) but didn't. Along with Guru Paptimus (this one being an utter failure though), I thought both were rather interesting and daring attempts. I'm not even sure such things would be accepted today. | In each episode, the director always manages to make in order not to bore the audience, and also to fly some slap. LOL! I have not yet seen Char take so many. The plot moves well and clashes are not repetitive, the final PV, is promising. |

| I don’t know man, I thought Scirocco was the one calling Reccoa (the show was kinda hinting that she was aware of him via his natural charm or NT power) but it turns out it was Yazan(?) I don’t know what to think because the anime only showed them meeting briefly & interchanging blows in a skirmish a few times thus the anime has not made me think they were destined for each other but seeing this episode you think they are soulmates… *Sigh* |

Char, after getting punched in the face by Kamille again: aren't those beautiful cactuses? xD I'm really not invested in Reccoa though. @Rei_III It was an interesting attempt - you don't see characters like Reccoa every time, but she was poorly executed, I think. And there're better depictions of cultist behavior than Scirocco and his followers, which looked almost like a parody. @EmperorKaido You'd better not set your expectations about Scirocco's background too high here. Also, I think I was writing my comment on him after I'd finished the show, so it's sort of a retrospective view. |

| I'm perplexed by Reccoa's actions - but then, so does she, herself, for anyone who's been paying attention. I for one, hope she gets out of this alive. Or, at least, that she "finds her true self". And If we think about it, many anime shows are about troubled characters, torn between contradictory feelings, having traumatized pasts. As long as it is handled well, this may not make me "love" a character - but it certainly gives more dimensions to him or her. That's the way I felt about Four's character, as well (and I still hope we get to see her once again - she was too interesting to die just like that). I don't mind complex characters, even if they act in a way I don't "approve". But I DO mind characters that are too one-dimensional. |
